Didn't see a thread on this but Juan Soto is a member of the Yankee family, even if it's just 1 year. I like it honestly although I hate giving up the pitching depth since I am not sure who else is left if someone were to go down of the rotation. It's Gerrit Cole, Carlos Rodon, Nestor Cortes, Clarke Schmidt and I am unsure who is going to be the team's 5th starter. 

How we feeling about Shohei Ohtani potentially being a Blue Jay CM Punk'd RT ? Would Ohtani replace Josh Allen or John Tavares or Scottie Barnes for yall as the face of Toronto sports if he signs? 

Ohtani would definitely be the biggest face to hit Toronto since Kawhi.

I don’t follow baseball much like I use to but $700 million that is insane and since it’s in California the state tax over there take almost 50 percent

That contract would've wrecked Toronto. Sure, it'd be great short term. But in the long game, big trouble.

Athletics total team payroll over the past 10 years 667 million, it will make the dodgers look real  stupid when a team with a lower payroll then Ohtani has a better record.

Marcus Stroman is back with New York, this time with the Yankees. Easily becomes my most hated athlete in NY.
