That really took me off guard and a bit crazy that they'd acknowledge it on TV. I think it really sums up what's been happening in the division for the last few months - a lot of 50/50 booking with no one looking worthy of a title shot, aside from Asuka.

Didn't they invoke the 30 day rule on Naomi this time last year? If Alexa is calling sexism, I'm calling racism!

No one really deserves a title shot , so everyone gets a title shot! I love the WWE's logic , at least make them earn the spot through a series of matches like the men did.

They don't have enough on the roster to be able to do qualifying matches.

Even more amusing that they ackknowledged the lack of title defences was that they had Alexa totally make Kurt look stupid and incapable by telling him it was his fault since she doesn’t book the matches, he does!

Really? Dang. Who wasn't in the match? Alicia , Nia and Dana? That would be tough to pull off. 

Nia vs Mandy Rose (Winners Mandy and Sonya by CO) 
Alicia vs Bayley (Bayley wins)
Dana vs Sasha (Sasha wins) 
Mickie vs GOD DAMMIT WE NEED ONE MORE. Or just take away the handicap match , there would be exactly enough. 

They could bring back one of the past generations to face Mickie though , get a secondary pop from the crowd. I don't know though , it just feels off and I don't like how they all just get handed an easy road to the title when the Rumble just happened and winning it was supposed to be a huge deal. 

Maybe they can do a Beat the Clock for the last entry in the Chamber at least.

What last entry? The match is Alexa defending against Bayley, Sasha, Mickie, Mandy and Sonya.

Oh that sucks. I guess it makes sense somewhat , because they are up against the wall but at the same time , maybe they shouldn't just shoehorn the women into an Elimination Chamber match because "equality". I mean I'm all for it , but establish the division first , otherwise you end up with stuff like this.

Then again , they fuck up a completely full roster on the mens side , so what do I know.

I think they should have just had Asuka pick to face Charlotte, then made the Elimination Chamber the #1 contenders match for Alexa's title (and put Nia in the match).

I don't think she obviously is? Newz is that she'll be in a mixed tag match vs Trips and Steph.

That could happen I suppose. Was kind of hoping she would dive right into the womens division , but it also wouldn't make sense to put her on Smackdown. Rousey is such a wildcard.

Then your idea would be way better if that's the newz.

Haven't seen Raw yet but I am not surprised since Survival Series then 6 women have been tied up in the Sasha and friends vs. Absolution, Nia was busy with some storyline with Enzo, and Asuka undefeated streak. Alexa suffered the same way that Naomi did doing her reign where they forget to do something with the actual champion.

Na, Naomi is awful. 

Blondes are immune from the 30 day rule. At least Alexa is on screen regularly unlike Trish.

That and it's not a real rule.

A decent MODERN DAY interpitation of the rule I read was that you have to be ABLE to defend the title. Naomi couldn’t be guaranteed to be fit to defend the title whereas nobody remembered to make Alexa defend the title (Except for live shows!)

Let’s just forget about the Trish rule though...

Becky ignored the rule as well. Becky was in the hospital when Alexa was suppose to have her first title shot. I see the rule more like a speed limit most people ignore it but some people will randomly get stopped by it.
