It's really looking like we are going to see a new Champion tomorrow night. MJF heavily hinting that he needs time off towards the end of the essay, and what better way to create interest in whether or not AEW won "The Bidding War of 2024" than to write MJF off television for a while.

Joe gets a well-deserved transitional title change, we get fresh feuds with Swerve, Hangman, Jay White, Bryan Danielson (who cut a sick promo after losing to Eddie Kingston on Wednesday, and has less than a year left on his contract), etc. Rising stars like Brody King, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher and RUSH, guys that need a shove back into the title scene like Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara. The list goes on.

It's looking more and more like The Devil is Adam Cole, and unless it doesn't go that way, we could be seeing the ultimate betrayal on Saturday. Joe stands tall, The Devil gets his wish of completely destroying everything MJF loves, and once again MJF realizes he can't trust anyone. Maybe not even himself.

AEW SEASON FINALE TOMORROW BABY. LET'S GO.

I think MJF is too good at the psychology of the business to so blatantly allude to his reign ending. Maybe it’s reverse psychology, but I doubt it.

If anything, I keep thinking this is the setup to MJF being revealed as the devil.

This should be a great show, as AEW usually delivers, especially on PPV.

Not the strongest card AEW have ever put out but still some interesting matches. Swerve vs Keith Lee is a sleeper match hiding on the undercard. They have history. Will Keith Lee be elevated by basking in Swerve's glory?

The Losers tag match is also pretty interesting, a first time ever meeting between Jay White and Brian Danielson. Garcia and Danielson teaming together.

That MJF article was fantastic. Everything is pointing towards MJF losing, and you know what? I think it's going to happen.

It's funny. I screamed at WWE for years for not using social media to their advantage, then AEW came along and I was like "finally" but they went so far in the other direction that it is just as bad as not having any presence at all.

They need to find a happy middle ground. If you're going to shoot this stuff during/after the show anyway, go live on YouTube, Tiktok and Twitter and advertise it as the show ends every single time. Have people available for a press conference like NJPW does, or y'know, like every single other major sport does. Sprinkle in these promos and recap the show. THEN release them on social media because if you missed them when they were live you were going to check social media if you cared anyway.

Also, it'll be interesting, to see if any of the recent WWE releases, show up tonight or not.

Not his fault but I'm about to lose my damn mind if Swerve misses the show entirely because they decided to bring up a dead feud months after the fact and booked this match despite knowing he's been suffering for two weeks.

Swerve is on fire since feuding with Hangman and they have fumbled the ball ever since that death match. He gets eliminated in the semis of the Continental Classic, fine. I can live with that. Instead of this bullshit 8-man tag match they threw together, he should have beaten the shit out of Jay White, blaming him for weaseling into the semi-finals and ruining his shot at Moxley one-on-one, and they should be having a blow off match tonight. Or Swerve, Hangman, White & (insert name here) have a Fatal Fourway to determine the next #1 Contender.

Speaking of Hangman, where the fuck has he been? He better be hurt or taking time off for the holidays. Otherwise there's no excuse for him to not be wrestling tonight.

And Khan confirms Keith Lee isn't cleared, so Dustin Rhodes will face SWERVE instead.

Just announced on Zero Hour that Dustin Rhodes has stepped in to replace Keith Lee in the match.

Honestly on paper I don't hate the top matches as just a card in itself. Is it uncommon for AEW to go all out in terms of having a shit ton of matches at these shows? Or is that just a justification for having such huge rosters? I guess it's brand split #s without having brands? Dude I expect to see a case of TNT in the no dq match.

Both women are great wrestlers. But sorry, that was a kinda messy match.

Their PPVs go all out. They usually have approx 10 matches give or take, plus the pre-show on youtube.

Speaking of the pre-show, that match between Stat and Willow was really good until it wasn't. They both got gassed towards the end and it just became a botch fest. Really too bad.

Storyline injured after being jumped by the devil or is the devil. I wonder if they told Lee the plans for the match and he said that doesn't work for me I am injured. Because Swerve should have destroyed him by any logical sense.
