So there I was eating some New Year's Gouda and I got to thinking. Thinking about how I like cheese. Cheese is good. I'm a Cheese Guy. Do you like cheese? Then I got to thinking about how my brother and our friend Jensen were mean for making fun of my beloved "stinky cheese" (Swiss) back in the day. Jerks. And then I got to thinking about how every 90s sitcom nerd was big on cheese. What's up with that? Always thought that was a weird stereotype. Where did it originate? And why cheese? And while I'm here, where did the phrase "cut the cheese" originate? Man, poor cheese got a bum rap. Point is I started the New Year off on the right foot- with cheese on the brain. Bonus George Plimpton content... I've asked the Danish Tilsit- {Spoiler}Havarti question multiple times at my last two jobs. It's one of my things. I've yet to get a single correct answer. Sad.

I like cheese, but I need it under borderline autistic circumstances. For instance on it's own it's a chef's kiss. String cheese for little marks? Yes. Cheese and cracker combinations? I'll have another. Charcuterie boards? You just tell me where to sign bud. Pizza with extra cheese... stuffed crust... whatever? Right into my veins.
But for some reason I don't fucks with cheeseburgers. Do you want cheese on your whopper. FUCK NO. I hate the idea and the question because it seems like I gotta use a jedi mind trick to ensure it doesn't get added since most peeps probably say yes. Feel like it's less of a request and more of a warning.
Anyways I do gots .02 on cheese related topics. In fact if one of yinz (I said what I said) wanted to go full on Fergus Ferguson and turn OT into the food network I'm #allin. So much so that I had a failed attempt a while back to do just that.

I think to say I 'like' cheese is a drastic understatement. There are very few cheeses I don't like. My mom picked up a Sartori Raspberry BellaVitano cheese and though I love their Merlot cheese, the raspberry one was a no for me. I like cheese almost as much as I like gin and I consider myself a bit of a gin snob. I wouldn't yet say I'm a cheese snob. My mom has a friend here form the UK in May and HE was a cheese snob. Besides the puns write themselves: Sweet Dreams are made of Brie Have a Gouda day I Swiss you the best Cheddar days are coming What cha Edam? Hello? Is it Brie you're looking for? I know these lines are just too cheesy. I mean 'who doesn't like cheese?' Rogue

I never had stuffed cheese pizza before. Idk why I haven’t. Just never did. Until I read this post about an hour ago. I turned to my wife and asked her if she ever had it and she said no so we ordered it from Papa John’s. I just finished it and it was good. I don’t know how I went 35 years without trying it. Especially in my stoner days. I’m a massive fan of cheese. Goat cheese has been in my life my whole life since that’s an Albanian thing and would be my #1. Feta too. I love all kinds of cheese though. A life without cheese would just be cheesy.

I got my dad some Italian blue cheese for Christmas. I went to a fancy cheesemonger in an arty part of town. Y’all, we are in the wrong business. Blue cheese was $40-60 per pound. The $60 stuff was just from Oregon.

Also a Wisconsinite, but I have cheese resentment due to the lack of variety of cheese I had growing up. I didn't know honey on cheese was phenomenal until I was like 30. Pairing cheese with fruit came about the same time. I've been watching a series on Hulu about cheese. apparently the Greeks have the cheese eating on lock for every meal. And they invented cheesecake.

I … really don’t like cheese. I can do the basic, mild stuff (cheddar, Colby Jack, mozz, Parm when it’s cooked), but the aged or funky cheese? Nope. Can’t do it. At all. Outside of parm (again, cooked), I can’t even do other hard cheeses like feta or cotija. Bleh.

Cheese is amazing. However I became lactose intolerant in my early 30s so cheese does not like me anymore. I have to be careful with how much I consume.
Smoked cream cheese has been one of my favourites of late. All sorts of different seasonings you can put on the block before you smoke it. One of the best appetizers out there these days.

I'll join KING KID as the vice captain of team GOAT. 🐐 It's a good alternative to the richer soft cheeses like brie on a grazing board, and I also like to use it instead of cream with pasta. One of my standards is goat cheese pasta with roasted pumpkin, sundried tomato and pine nuts.

Threads losing me realizing I only know lowborn types of cheese. is American processed cheese product umm cheese? FDA says it's a "cheese food" which means it starts off as cheese/curds or had cheese/curds in it, but the finished process has less than 51% cheese/curds.

I use it to enhance my box mac and cheese. +2 slices of Freedom Cheese as I like to call it in my house.

Although at times I'll add feta to my boxed white cheddar mac and cheese.
