I was not as big into the Norton/Ice Train stuff as Baker was but still solid midcard fare whether teaming or feuding. I think they could have done more as a team actually. RIP

Aww man. This sucks. Tragic news. He was only 56.
I've told the story before of thinking Ice Train was destined to be a main event babyface when he came to WCW in '93. He had a great look and good babyface charisma. Crowds were reacting well to him, too. And of course every longtime HoW reader knows how much I loved Fire & Ice and their matches with the Steiners. Had them at something like #14 when we did PW's Favorite Tag Team Countdown a few years back.
RIP Ice Train.

He was one of the first guys I saw wrestle when I caught some out of date WCW during the summer of 1995.

I don't remember too much about Ice Train, but I do remember him being a brutish looking dude, and by the time I got into wrestling, I think he was mostly appearing on WCW Saturday Night. Sad to see him pass away though.

Fire & Ice was 1 of my favorite WCW teams growing up. RIP Ice Train.
