Her plans for WM were rumored to be set up in the EC match.  Can out of the Cornette camp the reason was she is still not able to follow a script and not ready to start working the shows.

But now there is a backlash people are walking back this report.

That article doesn’t say anything that validates your comment.

Was one of the Cornette group reporters that claimed it was due to her not being able to follow a script. Not going through every news source to dig it out. Word was she is still not ready for the main roster because AEW never trained her to work in sequences.  Not being ready means no WM program right now.

The story from two weeks about her not being ready.

What was it, after Wrestlemania last year? All Elite for Wembley? After Survivor Series last year? After Royal Rumble last month? Maybe after Wrestlemania this year perhaps....

I googled ‘Jade Cargill’ and read the first page of news articles and not one mentioned her being pulled for not being ready/forgetting moves.

The actual article discussing her not being ready is anecdotal evidence from Bryan fucking Alvarez, and I think most dirtsheet journos have proven in the last year they have no actual clue what is going on in WWE.

She was probably pulled because she's not ready.

She wasn't a good performer in AEW, in fact she was terrible most of the time. So I doubt she's suddenly become a solid enough worker in the space of the last how many months.

And considering the hype, they'll want her to deliver. Because if she sinks the place out, the mystique is gone. Game over.

Nice deflection but this isn’t a WWE vs AEW issue. This is you making inaccurate, speculative, BS posts and getting called out on it.

It would be a mistake to put Jade in the EC. She shouldn’t have to eat a pinfall so early. Build her up by squashing some low level talent first. She’s already had a great showing in the Rumble; she doesn’t need another showcase if it means getting pinned.

The point isn’t who the dirt sheets are more accurate/biased for, it’s that they’re all fucking useless these days.

The Jade Cargill project does need some work, but the discussion shifted so much to AEW that I moved it over to the "Problems with AEW" thread.
