He's in a band called The Insane Clown Posse.
He wears clown make up and calls himself a " Juggalo " while dressing like a 14 year old boy if it were 1999.
He's also masqueraded as a wrestler for 25 or so years and fronted the second worst wrestling game in history behind Fight Forever.

Who's Violent J and why should I care about anything they say? EDIT: I'm going to guess my life is not going to change even if I find out. Surprised you haven’t heard of him, ICP have an intense cult following & their own promotion.

I assumed this was apart of the storyline since he worked a live event. It gets Fatu over as a threat and someone who’s dangerous.

Edit: Nevermind he was wrestling anyway. Likely keyfabed. People made it seem like he did wrestle originally. Then again he could just be working hurt since medical clearance does not seem to apply to him.

“ Following his match against Shinsuke Nakamura at a WWE live event in Bloomington, The American Nightmare confirmed that he suffered two broken ribs as a result of Jacob Fatu’s attack. Rhodes was also taped in order to show off that he was injured.”
This is directly from the article you linked. That is solely what I was basing my post off of.
Edit: I see your edit now.

Yeah misread it. Thought he pulled out of the match for some reason. It is Cody though so who knows, could be working hurt.

Nattie seems to be on her way out too. Honestly, she’s done so much already but I understand if she walked too. There’s just too many other priorities in front of her and Dijak. They’re better off elsewhere.

Nattie will be a major loss. That is a lot of mentoring talent, and helping rehab, going somewhere else.
I imagine this is just the start too. Now finance guys have the majority of the board, they will start to really reign in costs, and the main cost to WWE is talent. If not a top guy, they will simply see you as replaceable. Question will be what happens when a large chunk of people get replaced by NXT people.

Consider who WWE has signed in the last few months - Tama, Tanga, Fatu, Ethan Page, Spears, etc. In addition to a new rounded of NIL recruits.
The WWE ain't cutting back because of " finance guys "... they're moving on.

Dijak reported that WWE refused to negotiate with him so he is walking, last day tomorrow. Shocking he was even called up, he should have put Trick over before departing. He's a good hand but WWE doesn't see him as anything more than just that. He'd be a good fit in AEW honestly. Nattie on the other hand WWE is doing a huge favor to. She will make a killing with her sister in OnlyFans content and get to wrestle in TNA or whatever too?

Yeah Nattie will blow up once released. I think Tony will take her and give her a dual role like Jarrett. She can help in the back and work when she wants. Imagine at least TNA also makes an offer, but not be shocked if Marigold does as well.

Yeah, but... the machine keeps turning.
Becky's departure has had zero negative impact on the WWE product. In fact, it's arguable better since she left, as it's opened a door for Liv to be in the spotlight. If Becky had stayed, arguably we'd see the same rehashed angles that they've run with Becky over the last few years where she commands most of the attention. MITB will likely produce a new opponent, and likely and arguably again, if Becky was still with WWE, she would have won it and they would have rehashed another " I'm the Man " angle, again. Given the last few programs Becky was involved in, the world had move on - it felt forced. People were generally annoyed Becky won The Elimination Chamber, given they had Liv, Stratton and Belair in the same match.
As for Nattie. We've spoke about guys having " I'm a good wrestler " gimmick. ie; Drew Gulak, etc. If she's so good at wrestling, where are the good matches? Part two of her gimmick is being related to Bret Hart. She's perhaps a good hand, but nothing she does is particular exciting, or ever has been. She's a good trainer, apparently - that's certainly a skill. Again, her departure will have zero negative impact on the WWE. She's hardly on TV anyway, and has spent the majority of recent times on NXT. She's had 15 years to do something special but has failed to become more than a mid-card gate-keeper. The foundations of WWE aren't going to be shaking if Nattie leaves.
At some point, you've gotta call it. Times up.
Wait. Is Tamina still employed?

Dijak has made his first appearance, in front of maybe, 20 fans at an independent show. He sure showed WWE.
The (the suspiciously all the same, copy/paste likely Indian produced type) dirtsheets on Facebook imply Dijak was leaking information to Fightful, hence his rather odd departure.
Dijak noted in an interview with.. Fightful, that other released talent were told with more notice that their contract would not be renewed. He had a much shorter turn around, despite it being reported in early June of negotiations between the two parties.

Yup, popped up in the small local fed here. Doing RevPro next it appears. Doing Blitzkrieg was almost certainly a favor. Not sure who is running it, but this is not the top fed in CT at all.
Sounds like everyone is leaking the details of their releases to avoid others trying to tell the dirt sheets the details (despite not actually knowing them.)

Huge news here. Sounds like reason Mone walked and went to AEW was more related to her acting career. Said WWE did not want her to do Mandalorian and tried to book her on house shows when she had to film. And makes sense, as a company, WWE should care more about people wrestling for them, than going off and doing things that will not benefit them. But also means Jade may have made a real mistake going to WWE expecting to pivot into an acting career. Actings means a lot of time off.

I think at the centre of it all, Banks ain't exactly easy to deal with.
She went MIA a few times to find her smile and in the end walked because she didn't get what she wanted.
Put part of it down to a shitty environment, but also put part of it down to Banks' own ego.

Def agree. I was not pleased that Tony signed her at all. But after the PPV last weekend she won me over again. Hope she keeps her smile there.
Does not change that WWE is so the type of group that would tank someone's outside activities if they did set the shit up personally. We all seen it in action with the twitch stuff and demanding 50% of their earnings from outside platforms.
I imagine though if WWE pulls with this Cargill she just walks.

Not difficult to keep your smile when you are handed championship after championship. Let's she what happens when she loses, if she ever loses. Anyone would be all smiles if they were given - $5 million a year? Is that the agreed number? And creative control... It's difficult to manage. Imagine you've got an employee in a high profile position and one day they're like " I'm taking 6 months off to go work somewhere else... " it just doesn't work. And look, let's be honest. She left WWE over 2 years ago, if Hollywood were calling, she'd have more than a Don Johnson movie to her name by now. I get you've gotta eat some shit first, but...

Thing about that creative control in AEW buck stops at Tony. Even Cody could not keep his control in the end. When it comes time to drop the title, she will. Whether she loses her smile or not remains to be seen.
But so far at least, in the ring she has been great. Curious what they do with her and Britt as that could be a very good feud. Sounded like at the presser it will be the first girl signed taking on the person with the largest contract.

I wasn't sure where to post it and didn't want to start a thread, but Cody Rhodes is one of the good ones. I'll link it after post, but the gist is that some fan in Canada got screwed out of a Toys R' Us ticket contest because of his wheelchair. WWE took the easy PR, sure, and I'm glad they did, but Cody didn't have to call the kid to break the good news. Could have just sent a simple tweet back. Yet he did and made a core memory for that guy that he'll never forget. Awesome stuff, what a human.

Cody always doing stuff like this. He is a really good guy to have as the face of the company because of it. Ever since AEW he has been really active with fans, particular those with special needs.

Drew McIntyre posted and deleted a tweet today. It said “It’s a real photo. Cry us a river.” and it is him posing with Jack Perry. Wreddit thread here: www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/s/EeZQPtPd2BDrew is on another level. I love everything about this. Apparently he lives in Nashville and that is where Dynamite was last night. He must have been at the show, or met up with people before or after.
