So tomorrow is Pokémon Day, unsurprisingly that means there will be a Pokemon Presents taking place to celebrate. With that said, what can we expect going into tomorrow's Pokémon Presents?

Well, it's hard to say honestly, although I feel like it's a safe bet, that there will be some info in regards to the mobile games (IE Pokémon Go, Pokémon Unite). With that said, I know the one thing everyone wants is Gen 1 - 3, to be released on Nintendo Switch Online (myself included).

I know that every year, since the Nintendo Switch was originally released in 2017, there has been at least one mainline and/or a spin-off game released for the system. However, with the persistent rumors of Nintendo's next console coming up soon, I'm not sure if we can expect any new games announced for console. Although, I suppose it would be possible for another Let's Go, or Pokémon Legends game to be released on both systems.

Not long now, and you're not wrong about the Gen 1-3 re-releases, especially if they included Stadium compatability. I doubt it'll happen, but it'd make my evening.

Plenty of rumours going around, but the one I've heard the most is a Let's Go Johto Game/an ILCA remake of B&W. Either way, I'm on board for either.

Supposedly it's going to be a shorter stream than usual, so I'm not expecting much beyond them touching on all the major apps and finishing the stream off with a teaser trailer. We'll get Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Masters, Pokemon Sleep, Pokemon Go and Scarlet/Violet updates and I'd be shocked if we saw much else beyond a trailer on Worlds.

Also did you get a chance to play Sinnoh Tour Lony KING KID? I didn't get the Electabuzz I wanted, but loaded up on plenty of XL candy for it, Lickitung, Sneasel and Gible so I can't complain. My main goal was to hatch the regionals, so I got that taken care of right away. That along with that bargain of a raid box (50 Raid Passes for half price) it was a pretty good event.

Seeing Unown, that means Gen 2?

So Pokemon Go is having a Paldea anime event, seemingly with all the starters and the debut of Charcadet and it's evos Armorouge and Ceruledge.

They're speedrunning through all the different apps at the moment, Sleep, Masters etc.

No Gen 2, some Pokemon Legends Z- game. I have X/Y for 3DS, I don't get this.

Too soon for it IMHO but I came back to Pokemon after skipping GEN 3,4,5 with X/Y. Fennekin/Delphox was my homegirl, that Greninja dude got too much hype. 

Not sure about this. 

So many games stuck on 3DS like Kid Icarus: Uprising and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Pokemon X/Y wasn't my 1st or 2nd choice to bring to the Switch.

Gen VI never got a expanded version, despite the originals hinting towards more features. Whatever modes they had, ended up making their way in Sun and Moon, which is why both Greninja and Zygarde got alternate forms in those games and not in Gen VI.

Also means the return of Megas which are really important in Go, but haven't been featured so far this generation.

Gen 2 and Gen 5 were hinted at heavily in Gen 9, but Gen 9 also featured the return of a ton of Gen VI Pokemon, so not completely out of the blue.

It's also a Legends game, so it won't be a straight up remake.

I completely forgot that Pokemon Z didn't release, didn't they release a new legendary(Zygarde or whateverit's name was) for that? Some green lizard.

Not many memorable Pokemon this gen outside of Pangoro and Aegisslash excluding the starters. Sylveon I guess too, the fairy type introduction was hella important.

Yes and in Sun and Moon you could collect fragments to change it into a more powerful form. It was clearly intended for a third release that never arrived.

You're not wrong about the Gen VI monsters. Greninja was a bad-ass though and it's hidden ability was just as busted as Aegislash. I'd also give an honorable mention to Hawlucha who can basically carry the main campaign by itself.

Still, it's not so much being a Gen VI return, rather it's a sequel to Legends. I think that had a ton of potential, and can be a really good testing ground for future mechanics. A lot of the QOL improvements in Gen IX came from those games.

Wasn't Goomey or whatever the psuedo legendary dragon this gen? The silly looking dragon. Better than Kongmo-O or whatever the heck it was but still. 

It's been nearly a decade since I played this IIRC!

Kommo-o look sick as hell in Gen IX with it's rendered scales.

I never messed with Goodra, register it in the Dex and then let it sleep in the box.

Also had the best basic bird mon in Talonflame.

The big concern with Z-A is that it's only going to be based on Lumiose City. You're not getting the entire Kalos region, just the one city.

EDIT: Like I said earlier, Legends Arceus was basically their warm-up for Gen IX. Maybe this will be their warm up for Gen X and they'll be able to make better towns this time around?

Anyway, I got around to watching this, about 14 hours after it went live, the only good thing is a new Pokémon Legends game. So definitely a new Nintendo console by 2025? A simultaneous release, means on the Switch and Nintendo's next console on the same day.
