Wait, I thought he was All Elite... Never said that, only Drew is not signing a deal and without a deal, others can make him offers. I speculated how Tony can use him and if he would prefer working there, but never said he is for sure going to AEW. Only for some reason he is not signing a new contract with WWE, which is not normal.

Also reports are the ear injury to Drew is legit. He ruptured the eardrum.
Fucking beast to finish the match. When I saw Corino bust his, he was on the mat for like 20 minutes after the match is agony.

Everyone is All Elite on socials before signing. Gotta get that pay bump partnah!
Though with Vince out it might be less effective especially for the scrubs.

Maybe he’s already signed a new deal and both parties want to keep it a secret so his match against Seth is more unpredictable.

People have made it weird by continuing to predict he was gone 3 or 4 times over now.

It was reported originally Drew did not sign and had a few months left on his contract. Then at the end of that time people reported on it again. Then six months were added to his contract for injury. Now those six months are ending people are reporting on it again. It is not multiple stories, it is the same story, that Drew did not sigh, did not sigh when time was added, and now that time is up is still not has signed a new contract. I am not sure why people assume WWE will let Drew work without a contract. And again, this from literally less than an hour ago: www.sescoops.com/wwe/drew-mcintyre-wwe-contract-update-wrestlemania

Are we really going to go through this tired song and dance again?
He signed with WWE, he's in a high profile match at Mania, let's leave it at that.

Is there a source for this? People keep saying this, but I only seen the opposite being being reported, that he is only signed till right after WM.

I think he’s just maximising his payday. For some reason I can’t envisage him in AEW at all, and I’m pretty sure Japan can’t afford him.

Or Endeavour is refusing to pay him for an extended break that Drew is reportedly seeking. But if this is the case, he will be a free agent until he returns. Which means everyone can start making offers.

Imagine this is the scripted long play so Drew can nope out of WM with the title in homage to Punk.

That would be amazing. Him shooting on the crowd and saying he is talking the belt and going home because they do not deserve him. Then when Raw debuts on streaming they try to introduce a new belt and new champion and Drew just destroys the people fighting for the title, and destroys the title itself.
Be a Quack type story, but his return would seriously kick off Raw on Netflix, and revive the brand after they have to go dark for three months.
I would even let him work a Japanese date or two. He can easily fight a former WWE guy there with little risk. Let him bring the title, and things would get wild on social media.
Best part everyone really wins. Drew gets time off, when he returns he will be bigger than ever if not the top WWE star, the Raw title would be super hot on him, and Raw is must stream shit just to see where the hell everything goes. Drew can shit post from home too all he wants.

I can’t imagine Raw without a champion for 9 months nor do I think this needs to stretch out that far.

Drew “paying tribute” to Punk by doing his own Summer of Punk angle sounds amazing.
I’ve been a big Drew fan for a while now so I feel vindicated by his current run. Now WWE needs to do the right thing and give him the championship.

Having him hold the title till Netflix would not be as big as it seems since Raw does go off the air in Oct at some point. So only six months without a Raw title, the end of which will likely be some weird brand mix story to justify people moving to smackdown during the Raw blackout. If they ever were to do this storyline, doing it when a brand is going to be off TV anyway is the perfect time.
Doubt they will do it though. Feels a step to far for WWE. But would be insane if they did because we would have never seen really anything like it. People always threaten to take the belt and leave, but they really never had anyone actually follow through with the staying at home for months part with the belt. Also now with WWE and UFC being one company, they could have Drew just sit in the crowd for UFC events with the belt for signings and have him do short promos there.

I predict Drew wins the title at Mania then shows up on Dynamite the following Wednesday and throws it in the trash. Then we get a “Drew Galloway is #ALLELITE” graphic on twitter and Tony Khan cums so hard he dies.

Then 6 weeks later he disappears from TV for 6 months, then comes back and babbles about beating up CM Punk, the WWE and how he's the best, only to disappeared in another 6 weeks time.

At this point of WWE loses Drew I assume it is on Endeavor and not WWE. Endeavor I can see wanting to keep contracts low, and Drew proved this last month, he deserves top dollar.
Still hope we do learn what the fuck is going on with that contract right now sometime down the line. Should never get this close. Maybe with midcarders you do not care if you keep or lose you can do this shit, but not with someone you can lead a brand with. Even AEW does the old WWE shit of re-signing people a year or so in advance just to lock them down hard.

I doubt WWE gives someone this much spotlight and the EC victory and a Wrestlemania main event if they're walking out a few months down the line.
If he was, they would have gone with someone like Knight for example, who can carry a show, but certainly needs a rub first. And the energy would have been invested else where.
