I think they expected more chatter online about Hangman's "injury." Instead SRS came out night of and said he wasn't injured and everyone stopped caring about it. They ran that angle as if everyone was still wondering if he was hurt or not.

Pretty stupid. They could have just left it until Sunday and had Hangman show up and attack Swerve right before the match started.

I half expected this from a man with an evil mustache personally.

I assume whatever he wanted time off for he resolved and they just swerved back to this. But again it is Hanger, so no one will really know or try to figure this out, since no one leaks Hangman shit to the press.

Especially because, like c said, everything still ended up at the same spot. It was a triple threat before, it's still a triple threat now. I suppose there was a half-step taken in turning Swerve face and Page heel but other than that, what was the point of any of this weird work shoot injury?

...except that Hanger in his promo said it went from a triple threat to a regular one-on-one not involving him, so maybe that changed? He didn't say he lied about that

Likely Hanger was not sure if he could do the PPV so they set up that angle whether he could work the show or not they had outs. Guessing things resolved early, so Hanger is back and doing evil mustache shit this week.

Rumors were whatever is up was personal, and that checks for Hanger, his personal life fans simply do not get to be part of. And family leaves a large area for shit that would push him to be unsure last week if he could work this weekend.

Not gonna lie, this match is letting me down huge.

For me I do not like it as I remember when Kobashi did it to Joe and a mist of blood rose up in the air.  The ones I see now look like half-hearted compared.
