Do you have a specific routine you perform daily much like Patrick Bateman? Lately I've been following a routine every morning and I find that it really makes my life feel more complete when I have a morning routine. I just feel more awake for the rest of the day.
Wake up at 6:00 am.
Pee if needed...odds are it's going to be needed. Take a crap to if needed.
I'm big into yoga and stretching now. Nothing to heavy but god damn it feels good to just stretch yourself. You feel lose the whole day.
20 minutes on my stationary bike and either listen to my tunes or a podcast.
Take a shower. I only shampoo my hair twice a week as I feel anything else is just doing more harm than good. I use many of the fine brands of old spice when I do shampoo. I'm a big fan of Irish Spring soap so that is my go to soap for the body.
Moisturize my face...a key component to not looking old as shit. Start it when your young people and make it a habit. Also twice a week, I use a exfoliate on my face and...well, my wang. It might seem odd to exfoliate your wang but I find it's important in making sex/masturbation feel better. Maybe it's just all in my head(pun intended) but it works for me and I'm not stopping. Also I will shave during the post shower routine when needed. Usually every other day. Of course I get dressed and fix my hair during the time as well.
I generally don't eat breakfast but I drink a large glass of ice water every morning before I grab the keys and head to work. I may or may not eat a banana on the way to work. I always pack 3 atomic fire ball candy mints in my pocket because those are awesome.
When I hit the car I have a song of the month that I play every day on the way to work. This month it's Naked and Famous with their 2011 hit "Young Blood".
After that I go into work which I guess is kind of a routine in itself.
After the work day ends it's pretty much just a free for all. I might watch tv. Might go for a long ass walk. play video games...whatever strikes me is what i'm doing. Weekends is more of an all day free for all where I kick the routine to the curb. That is just my work week routine.

Stop self sabotaging, eat breakfast

Add me to those that never eat breakfast. I love breakfast food, but it's never been a thing I've done during morning dating all the way back to school days growing up. Me, I roll straight from bed and brush the teeth followed by the shower and to the car for work. No coffee or cereal. I'm out the door.

Skinny fat, but my BMI is within the normal range.

You should actually skip breakfast. Extend your fasting as long as possible, and shortening your eating window as much as possible supposedly helps stimulate weight loss.

Always up in the 5 o’clock hour, make sure to do my hair, take my laundry list of medications, and smell good. Check my pockets for keys, phones, and wallet before leaving for work sometime between 6:30 and 7. If I have motivation I like to throw my earbuds in and watch a show on the tablet as I walk from room to room doing my thing but it’s completely optional.
Download a podcast or two for the hour commute, grab something small for breakfast on the way as a way to stop and break up the drive, and get to work by 8.

I don't have a schedule. Since my kids are old enough to wake themselves for school and I work for myself, I get up when I feel like it unless I have an appt which is rare for mornings. Some days I wake at 8am..other days, like today, I wake at 11:30.
And I'm never hungry when I first wake up. When I try to eat first thing, I am nauseous all day afterwards...

vendrell, don't listen to these anti breakfast fools. If you are doing any sort of exercise in the morning as you claim you need to give yourself nutrients to build muscle. As you get older this gets even more important. And sad news, you're fuckin old now man. My morning routine depends whether I"m on ahift or not, and 5 days out of every 28 day cycle the routine begins at 4:20 pm instead of 4:20 am 4:15 am, first cell phone alarm goes off, hit snooze. 4:20 am, alarm clock radio goes off. Into my sweatpant for 10 minutes of yoga, then 50 pushups, 50 situps, 50 squats and a few minutes of planks, and a bit more stretching. Breakfast of banana, 1/2 cup probiotic yogurt (has to be professional, not amateur biotic), piece of toast with peanut butter and jam, piece of toast with miracle whip and two eggs on it. And a cup of water. Let that percolate for a few minutes, 10 minutes in the bathroom to shit, shave and shower. Then a few minutes of snow shovelling before I catch the bus to work which picks me up at 5:25 am across from my house. It's a hour long bus ride to the mine, I usually get around 30 minutes sleep. Make it into the break room of my department by 6:45 for a thrilling 12 hours. Breakfast is vital. Maybe if you're just some desk jockey you don't need energy, but any reasonable boss at your desk jockey job will understand you will be more prodictove of you get up and move 5 min of every hour, and you need energy for that.

Even as a desk jockey you should eat foods that hydrate. Eat a salad for breakfast. No joke. Over 35 eat protein for breakfast.
