Despite having a pretty successful indy career ( with Shimmer and the Aussie indies) Billie was not someone who came into NXT with a lot of hype even or your average female indy signing. Despite this I was personally excited to see her get signed, as the indy work I saw from her was good and she seemed to be a solid worker.
Unfortunately, since debuting with NXT her work has not been super impressive. She's failed to stand out in her duo with Peyton where Peyton seems like the clear star. Her character work isn't bad but is pretty generic mean-girls/Lay-cool style antics, but that has not really been the main problem.  

  Her ring work has probably been my least favorite part about her so far. She's had mediocre to poor matches with both Kairi and Ember who can have good matches with pretty much anyone. Her work with the inexperienced, green girls like Liv and Alliyah has been unmemorable at best. Her best matches have been the fatal four way with Asuka and Nikki, which was a spot fets where she didn't have to do too much, and her match on SD against Dana. It's weird she's really tall but she doesn't seem powerful like Michelle Mcool for instance. It is almost like her height makes wrestling the smaller girls more difficult for her. Is she just someone who wrestles better as a face.   

I hate all the makeup she is wearing. She looks like a clown. It's distracting


I'll always be a fan, though. She's everybody's favorite gf, to me.

She simply ain't good enough. Why she hasn't been released in beyond me.

At the very least, she would make a somewhat ok manager. Her looks also seem to be diminishing also, whether the make up team in NXT is getting too excited or she's had work done, she looks completely different for the worse from her pre-NXT days.

I believe she had work done, too....and her natural beauty is gone.

She was never great in the ring.

Eventually, someone will get triggered, because a predominantly male message board is discussing a women's looks.... but, what happened? She was gorgeous.  

I'll have to go back and have a look at these matches to make up my mind but I thought the general consensus was that they've been bizarrely underused and it would be nice to think that once whatever is keeping them off TV at the moment is resolved, that they can really come to the forefront in NXT soon.

Still, even if she does top out as Peyton's 1b, that's still fine in my opinion. They are a great act together.

But I agree. She had a natural and soft beauty about her. When I first noticed her as Billie, I wasn't sure it was her. I googled her to make sure it was the same woman...

Looks have definitely gone downhill. Her wrestling is still average.

They all can't be winners. Outside of the match with Madison I was never really wowed by her in-ring, so I didn't expect that going in.

I always thought Billie was a better wrestler than Peyton before they were signed but Peyton has proven herself to be a great hand since then.

I wonder if she had any sort of unreported injury that kept her from wrestling as much as her partner does. There’s really no reason for her to be on the sidelines and have her growth as a performer so stunted.

I also think that if they, as a pair, moved away from the LayCool gimmick and really committed to the femme fatale characters that they’re both dressed for, then we’d see more room for development from Billie.

I always wondered by Peyton wrestled more. Billie should have more ring time. i'm kinda hoping Peyton gets called up without Billie.
