Why do people hate Pepsi and/or Coke so much? Fountain drinks, barely any difference at all. Canned or freshly opened bottle, Coke is slightly more carbonated, and Pepsi slightly sweeter.

I find Pepsi tastes moldy compared to Coke.  :ugh:

I can tell the difference between 7-Up and Sprite as well. I prefer 7-Up, but honestly we only have either in the house for weekly cocktail mix. 

This Saturday I got a couple pints of fresh blackberries so I made gin & tonic with Empress Indigo, muddled the blackberries and served mine with tonic and moms with soda. Added a couple blackberries on the rim for garnish and voila. It was very refreshing.

Coke and Pepsi taste nothing alike to me.
The difference between Coke Zero and Pepsi Max is even larger.

I am big on the die drinks, but can't face full strength Pepsi, Coke or Lemonade... One sip and my teeth feel like they are going to fall out.
Waaay too much sugar for me.

The only "full sugar" drink I can handle is Ginger Beer.


I also don't understand how anyone drinks Monster, that just tastes gross.

I really thought Monster would be out of fashion by now. It had such a strong association with 2000s extreme sports, so given no one gives a shit about moto cross or skateboarding like everyone did 15 years ago, I thought it would just fade away quietly, like a Ryan Shekler or Rob Dydeck reality show.

And how anyone over 25 can justify drinking it, is beyond me.

Ugh, the Coke Zero and Pepsi Max and diet drinks of the world are vile. Anything with sucralose or aspartame in it is an immediate turn off for me. It just tastes so fake going down with a nasty aftertaste. No thank you.

Sprite and 7up have similar differences to me like Coke and Pepsi. Ones a bit sweeter, one seems to be a bit more carbonated.

Monster, Rockstar, and all energy drinks I've tried are also gross.

I can't believe anyone can even stomach 'energy' drinks. I have an acquaintance who has never touched a drop of alcohol in their life, but their kidneys and liver are shutting down because of the sheer amount of energy drinks they consume and do you think they've stopped and tried to repair the damage? Of course not. 

Every now & then I used to drink Faygo grape. WHOOP, WHOOP!

I know people who only drink the no sugar energy drinks. Because sugar is bad. But the synthetically produced bull bile acids masquerading as naturally occurring taurine are ok, apparently.

I've never had an energy drink, but I've consumed more soda than is legally allowed.

I switched to only have diet sodas 15 years ago. The taste difference isn't a big deal to me.

In the 90s and early 2000s, bottled Starbucks frappuchinos were very popular. Now, coffee shops are so ubiquitous that people get big cups of fresh iced coffee rather than bottled.

Noticed Pepsi been on sale 2 weeks in a row. Normally the cube is like 13, but both grocery runs it's been @ 10. Wonder if sales are down?

Pepsi flats at Costco were on sale. Coke was not.

I have taken to buying my Pepsi Max on Amazon, it's the same "on special" price all the time and delivered to my house for free.
