Both games seem interesting enough, I'll probably get around to picking them up at some point.

Potential game of the month for me, the fact we get a free Stellar Blade demo that has story progression to the final game is sublime. We already know the visuals are to die for but now we get to see the gameplay and how this rolls. I hope this isn't another Forspoken demo fiasco, I think this game is going to kill. I almost want this game to review well just to see how angry some folks get over a sexualized female protagonist being apart of a good/great game. :lol:

I have the Sand Land demo to play as well, I still am holding onto the preorder 20% off bonus I had for this game from last year via Target. The demo will make or break this one for me.

That's about it. Big time hopes for Stellar Blade, crazy both this and Sand Land come out on the same exact day.

:love: Demo is getting some nice reviews from the outlets, think this game is going to do so good. Can't wait to play the teaser on Friday.

The Stellar Blade demo is legit fun. Once you get those parries in, the game is just insane. The color indicator is huge. I hope there's enough enemy variation which was a little worrying in the demo but the demo is less than 2 hours long so I won't go too crazy.

Think I am in Day 1. The boss challenge at the very end swayed me in, the different types of dodges you can do with Eve is so wicked.

Folks this is why quality demos are an important thing. Like I said, this game is coming in hot.

Played a little bit of the Sand Land demo, cancelled my preorder, didn't click with me and will be spending late April with this bad boy.

Stellar Blade is the big one, gonna get to the demo as soon as I finish RotR, loves me some hack and slash action…AND TWINS!

Also gonna give Sand Land a go, everything else is just “maybe someday.”

Two more games are being added to Nintendo Switch Online (April 24th), this time on the N64 side of things, those games being... Extreme G, and Iggy's Reckin' Balls.

Anybody playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- Wrath of the Mutants? Came out of nowhere for me, seem likes it plays like the classic 2D style and turtle style is that of Nickelodeon's 2912 turtles. Seems kinda neat but will look at other playthroughs to see if it isn't a lazy cashgrab or something. It is 30 bucks so...

Missed this when you posted it, but Grounded is one of my favorite games of all time.  So fun with really fun survival and base building elements.

The massive dub is coming, all reviews coming in less than an hour. Even some of these outlets are giving the game some flack for the costumes you can dress the main character in. Can't deny talent.

15 hours in and yeah Stellar Blade is fantastic. Shame it is such a lightning rod of controversy due to the appearances of the character by one side and now the censorship/false promises by another. I wish Shift Up(The developer of this game) never said this would be an uncensored version because it gave people a false hope that they quickly bait & switched. There is one costume(The bunny one) that was altered to be a little less exposing(It still shows the most as....skin so people still win) which is a big nothingburger but the tone down of gore sucks, I can tell you one boss barely shoots out blood vs the bloody massacre it was after you finished killing it with a QTE cutscene.

The story is kind of weird with this one and the side missions are pretty lackluster(Half of the ones I did are basically go a set place, discover a dead body and report it) but outside of that, game is great. The combat is just smooth as heck and the exploring of areas are pretty great. There's one part that is basically Dead Space 2.0 with gun only combat! Seems like I am about halfway through the game according to the PS5 tracking system that I have. Trying to get as many collectibles as I can.

Game is on normal difficulty but I am finding it somewhat easy, I can imagine the hard mode that happens after beating the game is where the game ups the ante. I get it though, no need to gatekeep the game just for the diehard players.
