This is an absolutely stacked card, especially Takeshita/Strickland, and Shibata/Ospreay. Having said that, the rest of the card looks great as well, and I'm all for both Anna and Skye getting TV time.

Swerve/Takeshita and Ospreay/Shibata are super exciting.

It's Undisputed Kingdom isn't it? I say this because I've made that mistake before :lol:

We know the ratings are down from 1-2 years ago. It's been discussed to death in here. We've talked about it every which way and they are what they are. There's absolutely no reason to bring it up unless you're just trying to annoy people.

Come RT, we know nothing matters more to wrestling fans than how many Americans with Nielsen media boxes are watching a wrestling show on cable television.

I also cannot wait to post weekly in the WWE forum how Raw has a Nielsen rating of 0 weekly once they go to Netflix.

It's so dumb. Last year Dynamite was #3 behind Raw and Vanderpump. This year Dynamite is #3 behind Raw and Vanderpump.

WBD is about to give AEW a big raise.

Yes, I watch Dynamite. If I’m being honest, it’s mostly because my brother is a huge AEW fan and the only bond we really have is over wrestling. And I like to talk to him about wrestling. I’m too busy for Collision and Rampage but I almost always watch Dynamite.

RT, I respect you enough that if you think I’m baiting you with ratings, then I’ll quit. I sincerely do not feel like it is, but that’s the crazy thing about feelings, they differ from person to person.

Fair enough. Just seemed like you only ever came in here to complain. That's on me though, I shouldn't care that much either.

I could care less what the ratings are I jus want to see good wrestling on TV. I'm curious what else WBD sees in AEW though, considering they don't seem to be going anywhere despite the slip.

But all the net people say WBD hates AEW because of their low tv ratings. Being the number one weekly show on the network is simply proof of their poor performance.

It has long been time to just ban the rating talk here. WWE forum does not allow it, why the hell do we here?

Fans are free to talk ratings on the WWE board - if anything it's frowned on here because it always leads to the exact same conversation RT/JTJ had.

In fairness to Jeff, considering the big signing blitz, the ratings are a topical discussion and last night's show was pretty disappointing. Some of the quarters make for interesting reading and support the view that AEW's formatting leaves a lot to be desired.

Quarters ratings are very misleading as Brandon does no lag correction. Using the straight quarters presume that everyone knows what will be on that quarter before it airs since the number is for the start of the hour. Five minute lag would be far more informative as it gives people a chance to tune in or out.

But people consider state of the art statistics just to be copying ratings from a pay site, putting them into Excel and making a line graph at 15 minute points.

If it was an anamoly sure, but since the minute to minute is unavailable, the quarters are good enough to at least expose certain trends in the viewership and things the masses aren't into.

Just like the third hour of RAW has typically been death.
