I like how the idea of a Kaizo Bowser fight is just a typical Rareware fight.
What was the deal with that? The curve in those games was ridiculous. Mizar in Jet Force Gemini, Gruntilda in BK (you better have all those honeycombs otherwise she'll check you quick) even K Rool in 64 had so many annoying phases to play through.
Has a final boss ever made you tap? I forgot to get the Charge Beam during one of my Metroid runs and soft-locked the game - that's my extent.

The last boss in final fantasy 2 I couldn't beat and didn't care about grinding because it's so awkward in the game.
Also I couldn't beat Dark Samus in MP2.

I never defeated Ultimecia in Final Fantasy VIII. I don't think I even beat the second form out of...three? Four?
