Watched the main events with my kid tonight. Lots to cover. He felt every emotion.
I recorded his reaction to everything from Jey Uso showing up to the end but will have to make edits. Here is a quick thread:
Video is good. He had to go shirtless for the finish because he was so emotional. Also cheered for Roman briefly as a joke because he didn’t think Cody could win. I will share it when I can.

Those videos are awesome RT! That’s what it is all about. My little girl is still really young and doesn’t know what’s going on yet, but she loves Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, and Seth Rollins theme songs and will dance every time they come on TV.

The paper he was ripping up in the video was something he made mid-match. He went up to his room and made a sign that said "GO CHAMP" because he was convinced Cody was losing and decided to Acknowledge his Tribal Chief and hedge his bets. John Cena changed his mind. The second he showed up he knew. That was why he was ripping up the sign. Kid is hilarious. I won't post it publicly but him crying after the tag match on Night 1 was the stuff of legend. He was SO MAD at The Rock. I had to console him before we started the title match.

WWE “WrestleMania XL” is now Peacock’s most streamed entertainment event of all time.
Across both nights, the show was viewed for a staggering 1.3 BILLION minutes over the weekend. It resulted in the 2nd biggest usage weekend for Peacock of all time, ranking only behind the NFL Wild Card game and following day on January 13/14th.

Fun videos RT.
My girl doesn’t care much about wrestling, but the wife and I troll her by acknowledging the tribal chief and telling her to get her one up anytime he’s on screen.

Beautiful stuff RT. My kid was up for both nights too. I even let him stay home from school Monday bc I’m a cool wrestling dad. He got scared of Undertaker which was great because every kid was back in the day and should be still! I’m cheering for the WWE to get greater so he can grow up like I did maybe without the Fan Fic lol.

Only real complaint from the Main Event was no Dustin. He should have been there. There is no reason why WWE and AEW could not make it happen. He should have been one of the guys helping his brother and celebrating with him. Sure it was overbooked, but can forgive that. Cannot forgive that for a storyline all about the Rhodes family, Dustin did not get to be there.

Cody did it! What a moment! I marked out when RR opted to hit Seth with a chair instead of Cody. Roman let personal beef get in the way of business. Wonderful storytelling.

Nothing new, or nothing we haven't discussed here. But it's interesting to here people outside of the fandom talking about the significance of The Bloodline angle and the eventually Cody win.
