So I don't have the clip, but apparently, on Meltzer's show last night, Dave made a comment that the reason Vince was selling so much stock was that he planned to start a new promotion. So I thought this would be a fun topic of discussion:
- Will any media distribution company be willing to work with him? (i.e. TV, streaming)
- What would his roster look like? (Obviously he wouldn't be able to sign anyone currently under a contract.)
- What is WWE's response?
I don't think it's a guarantee this happens, but I am curious and think it's a fun armchair quarterback discussion.

I think the better bet is Vince is selling out now because it is clear the stock will drop. The investigation into Vince will reveal many in WWE knew of his actions, and it is also likely Silver Lake that now controls the Endeavor side of the business, and majority control of WWE, will run WWE like an investment, which may not entirely work well overall as wrestlers are now subject to ROI analyses which should lead to a lot of changes in how people get paid.

There was a clip of Vince hobbling into a restaurant during Wrestlemania weekend. Cane and all. The last thing he should be doing is trying to run another promotion, he can barely walk.

It would be hilarious if he bought NWA.
I doubt he does anything other than pay his lawyers and hope he dies before he goes to prison.

Vince was the one behind the WWE sale. He wanted out, they wanted him in. Now he finally gets to walk away. Do not know why we would try to get another fed off the ground, when he can simply take the cash and live the high life until he dies.

I wonder if he’d try to buy MLW since he has the same lawyers as them now. I think with him it’s a control thing. He wants to feel powerful. So much of his action reflects that.

Vince is basically like Bender off that one episode of Futurama...
"I'll make my own wrestling promotion, with blackjack & hookers".
Hilarious if he buys any company, but I am also interested to see if he does.

When the feds come in to get Vince again, him and his cronies will be like "Cheese it".
