The Summer Games Fest show is about to start in less than 30 minutes if you're interested, hoping there's a lot of good stuff to be shown this weekend. There is an XBOX showcase which despite morale being down within the games division, it should be a good show all things considered. Other conferences also showing their stuff is Devolver Digital which is tonight and Ubisoft's showcase on Monday. 

Terry and Mai from Fatal Fury/KOF being in the DLC pack 2 for SFVI is super cool. Shocked about it, thought SNK and Capcom had a falling out.

Bison looks insane and 3rd strike representation is cool.

Sakura got owned though.

I actually really like the game bakers as I thought Furi was/is fantastic and a must play and Haven had some moments but didn't feel like it fully executed for me but this Cairn game? I just played Jusant like 3-4 months ago, I don't know what else this game can do salvage this realistic mountain climbing sort of game.

At least Danger and Toxic Avenger will give us some dope ass music for the soundtrack so looking forward to that.

They are treating Tommy the Green/White Ranger as the Casey Jones of this game, Casey wasn't able to be played until the game was beaten in Shredder's Revenge.




Devolver is coming up and they have like 1 major game that we are all waiting for in The Plucky Squire. 

God Metaphor looks absolutely amazing.  Class system instead of personas gonna be a lot of fun.

New doom looks pretty cool, hoping without Mick Gordon the soundtrack is still killer. Trailer music was pretty rad.

No release date for MGS 3: Snake Eater Delta but it looks good. Have more faith in it than I do with the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Good showcase if you like this but for every game that gets me giddy(Winter's Burrow looked cool, like with Tails of Iron I am digging these Redwall like Mice games), there's just the Fable's or Diablo's or Elder Scrolls that are big deals but not to me. 

Life is Strange back with the OG protag good ol' Max Caufield. Sweet!

And like that we get Wuchang Fallen Feathers which looked super cool, that looked like a Ninja Stellar Blade. Diggin these cute Asian protagonist females we are getting ngl.

The female protagonist takeover is no joke, most of these games today and on Friday were heavy on em. Not that there's anything wrong with it but man it's coming, get on board or get left behind.

Indiana Jones is the lone male protagonist shown and uhhh DoomGuy. EDIT: Snake too. 

Poor Sarah Bond got stuck giving the console model segment of the show.  

wow and a young Marcus Fenix & Dom(he's back?!) add to the male protagonists, that looks cool! No release date though.

I think Coalition said time to go back to the old crew.

Good showcase by XBOX that is a great showcase if you like the Activision Blizzard Bethesda catalog. I am not in that group though sans a few games.

I did not like the gameplay, but god the original was a beautiful game, and I imagine this will be breathtaking.  I cannot wait to see the Big Boss fight.  To this day, one of my all time favorite fights in a game.

Fable looked mind-blowing, cannot wait for that.

The whole boss catalog of that game is insane. The Pain with his bee infestations, the Fear with his Spider movements, the Fury and his Astronaut flamethrower gimmick, the End who they need to keep the LOL gimmick of, Young Revolver Ocelot and his pure arrogance, Col. Vulgin with his lightning abilities(Wonder if they keep him having a gay relationship in the game that he purposeful electrocutes for pleasure), the sorrow which is such a crazy fight and Big Boss as you said is masterful, maybe the best fight in the series. 

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake re-announced and not scrapped..........YAY

Not showcased at these events, so far at least, but Mewgenics now being talked about as next year

At least get Metaphor in a few months.  And it looks so fun.
