Slam Wars
A long, long time ago in a galaxy not too different from our own…
The Apocalypse now holds all of the championships in The United States Wrestling Federation, and therefore, they hold all of the power. Their mysterious investor has demanded that none of them defend their championships unless they absolutely have to. However, the by-laws of the USWF require the United States Heavyweight Championship to be defended on every event. There is now a new force fighting against them as the former World Heavyweight Champion has found common allies to take down the monstrous force.
The Resilience is in shambles. They are mostly hurt and damaged from their first battle with The Apocalypse. Furthermore and possibly worse, they are stubborn. They denounce the new alliance formed to take down The Apocalypse, and they refuse to accept the help from The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen. They are determined to be the only heroes in this story. They want their victory to be pure and undefeated. They have a lot of work to do.
Another new alliance is forming. Two unwanted men are banding together to protect the United States Wrestling Federation. They want to obtain a victory in order to prove they are not worthless.
The Apocalypse sympathizers have been further radicalized. Despite their failure to actually join The Apocalypse, they maintain that an Apocalypse ran USWF would be better for all involved.

Claiming/Re-claiming Glory
Terry Funk and Eddie Kingston [The Unwanted] defeat Zack Sabre, Jr. and Nigel McGuiness [The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen]
Terry Funk made enemies with The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen after his battle with Gunther. While they all hated The Apocalypse, Funk wasn’t going to be happy until he took them down. Regal and Gunther remained undistracted, but Funk was able to capture the attention of Zack Sabre, Jr, and Nigel McGuiness. They tried to take Funk out of the picture so they too could focus on fighting The Apocalypse, but Funk had an unlikely ally. Eddie Kingston came to the rescue of his hero. He said he would help Funk on the condition that when they were done, they’d take down The Apocalypse. Funk and Kingston brought the heart and the fight, and they were able to take down ZSJ and Nigel. After the match, Funk called out William Regal which set Kingston off. Eddie chastised Terry for going back on his word and shoved his mentor.
Grudge Match
Kerry Von Erich [The Resilience] defeats Haku [The Apocalypse]
After losing The United States Heavyweight Championship, Kerry Von Erich is set on getting revenge on The Apocalypse. He said he was born to be a champion, and that was his destiny. Haku disrupted his destiny, and for that, he would have to pay the price. Haku, the loyal enforcer of The Apocalypse, does not care about Von Erich’s perceived destiny. He only cares about inflicting pain on his opponents. Von Erich had the whole crowd behind him as he fought the man he called a nasty islander. Kerry overcame the odds and defeated Haku. After the match, he continued the assault even using a steel chair to make sure Haku paid for what he did.
Bunkhouse Match
John “Bradshaw” Layfield and “The All American” Ron Simmons [The Resilience] defeat The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Saggs)
The Nasty Boys shocked the world when they attempted to join The Apocalypse. While their request was denied, they still insist The Apocalypse would do a better job running the company than current USWF management. Two men who did not take kindly to Knobbs and Saggs’ actions are John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield and “The All American” Ron Simmons. The Resilience have been trying to find the right men to fight the good fight against The Apocalypse. Layfield said The Nasty Boys would’ve been great candidates for The Resilience, but since they tried to join The Apocalypse, they have to pay. Simmons and Layfield petitioned management for a match where they could really make Knobbs and Saggs pay. Their request was granted, and the Bunkhouse Match was made official. All four men brawled around the ring, and blood was drawn. Ultimately, Layfield took Saggs’ head off with a lariat to win the match. After the match, Layfield issues a challenge to Stan Hansen for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Proving Ground Match
Gunther [Queen’s Royal Sportsmen] defeats “Dr. Death” Steve Williams [The Resilience]
Gunther defeating Terry Funk showed his dominance, but it didn’t show his loyalty. Gunther declared he hated The Apocalypse, but he’s never proved it. This is the argument of The Resilience. This is the argument of someone like “Dr. Death” Steve Williams. The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen have made it clear that they are here to stop The Apocalypse before their reign of destruction spreads, but The Resilience does not trust Gunther and his comrades. The Ring General has no problem earning respect. These two men have a king’s road style brawl hitting each other harder than you can imagine. Ultimately, The Ring General came out on top pinning Williams in the middle of the ring.
United States Heavyweight Championship Match
Bam Bam Bigelow © [The Apocalypse] defeats William Regal [The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen]
William Regal came out to make a statement. The goal of The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen was to dethrone The Apocalypse and break them. He would not accept another match unless it was against a member of The Apocalypse. In the meantime, Bam Bam Bigelow refused to give Kerry Von Erich another shot at the United States Heavyweight Championship. Furthermore, he knew that the best way to infuriate The Resilience was to refuse to defend the US title against an American. Regal vowed that when he won the prestigious championship, he would defend it against all comers AFTER The Apocalypse had been taken down. Regal and Bigelow had a real styles clash as Bam Bam tried to use his speed and power while Regal tried to keep things on the mat. After many failed attempts, Regal locked Bigelow in the Regal Stretch, but Haku came running down to the ring. The referee goes to the floor to stop Haku from entering when Kerry Von Erich gets in the ring. Regal asks him what the hell he’s doing there, and Von Erich instructs him to pick up Bam Bam. Kerry goes for the discus punch, but Bigelow ducks and he takes out Regal. Haku pulls Von Erich out of the ring, and Bigelow retains.
Trios Match
World Heavyweight Champion Stan Hansen and World Tag Team Champions Sid and Vader [The Apocalypse] defeat Bryan Danielson and Strike Force (Tito Santana and Ricky Martel) [The New Alliance]
Tito Santana and Ricky Martel ask when they are going to get their shot against The Apocalypse. The entire group attacks them five on two when they get an unlikely ally, ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson. He chases them off with a chair before reminding the audience that he was asked to be the leader of The Resilience, but he said no because this wasn’t his fight. Now, it has become his fight, but he would rather fight along side honorable men like Tito Santana and Ricky Martel. He respected them, and he didn’t understand why The Resilience didn’t want them. They would help him behead the beast of The Apocalypse, but ultimately, he wanted his World Heavyweight Championship back. Hansen proposed the trios match with one condition. If Danielson’s team lost, he would never get a one on one match with Hansen for the title again. They agreed. Danielson, Santana, and Martel showed a lot of heart, but when Bigelow and Haku also got involved in the match, it was too much. Hansen pinned Santana in the middle of the ring.
