Thread/hype worthy Lony Big Pete ? 

Just saw this, not expecting much outside of remakes/remasters and ports, but I'm still excited to watch it with the Wife and kids, as it's something we've started doing together, and I love seeing the kids excitement.

A potential Alexa Bliss return and a Nintendo Direct in the span of like 10 hours is a good night in the household?

If Hollow Knight Silksong isn't shown tomorrow, time to hit the panic button for 2024. 

Put me down for a Xenoblade X port/remake. Since the Wii U online services went down, a lot of content has been locked out and the game could use with a fresh coat of QOL improvements. I've already spent 100+ hours on it, but would be keen to go again.

Otherwise anything Zelda, Pokemon or GameCube related.

If we get the Windwaker HD Port over to Switch, how we feeling Pete? 

My wishlist that's realistic for what is the final year of this great console is....

1) 1 or 2 of the big Zelda Gamecube games, Twilight Princess and/or Wind Waker making it to holiday 2024. I think Windwaker is more likely since it had a HD port over on the Wii U and Jeff Grubb who has been pretty good record wise with his predictions, got Metroid Prime Remaster(Albeit too late before his hair was cut per his bet) and he also said Windwaker is something Nintendo is holding onto.

2) Hollow Knight Silksong gets a release date, if it doesn't again, unless it's a shadow drop or Team Cherry announces this on their own accord, means this might not make it this year.

3) Ace Attorney got a heavy rumor from a reliable leaker "Pyoro" who has a good track record that the series will be mentioned tomorrow. Crazy man, Capcom are diabolical. We got the recent Ace Attorney DS collection with the Apollo Justice games too. Not sure if this means it's the rest of the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and/or both Miles Edgeworth spinoff & Prof Layton/Phoenix Wright get onto the console.

4) Speaking of Professor Layton, Level 5 has been pretty quiet. They had that Layton teaser, I would assume there's a release date given on that one.

5) Pokemon Legends A-Z might be the big gun that Nintendo has for the Holiday season, it was already announced on the Pokemon Direct from a few months ago.

6) Sakurai has been pretty quiet for a couple of years and one would think he's going to get one of his other babies not named Kirby or Smash some spotlight here. Not sure if this is in the form of Kid Icarus: Uprising escaping the 3DS cemetery and getting onto the Switch with the efforts of stirring up a potential sequel down the road.


I won't even put a Donkey Kong Country new entry here because that's pure pie in the sky type of shit but man it's been nearly a decade since we got a new game of the series. That would make my day though.

Never played one of these, surprised to see this open the show.

Yeah, I wasn't really sold on Mario & Luigi Brotherhood. I guess if you're a fan of the series, great, but it just looked like more of the same.

What made the original was all the twists and turns it'd take you on. It really had the same zany energy of Undertale and the sequels rarely achieved that pacing.

You should definitely check the original out if you're ever curious Blindy .

Damnit DKC Returns on Switch. Wanted a new one.

Then again I prefer it to not be on 3DS, the rope swinging was rough on that version so this game is still good. Wanted a new entry though.

I wonder if that Mio indie game is Nier related? The music sounded familiar.

Oh yeah Dragon Quest HD III, that's straight to the top of my list.

Has the 3DS exclusive levels so probably an optimized port from the 3DS version.
