Slam Wars
A long, long time ago in a galaxy not too different from our own…
The United States Wrestling Federation is in more danger than ever. The Apocalypse is getting stronger. They hold all of the championships, and they mysterious investor is playing all of the cards right when it comes to getting the championship matches they want. The new alliances proved to be temporary, and there appears to be more confusion than unity among those who want to fight against The Apocalypse. Their future seems bright which seems dark for everyone else.
Another problem yet is a war breaking out between teams who were supposed to be allies. The Resilience does NOT want to work with The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen to the point where they are uniting against them. The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen want to take down The Apocalypse, but they also have their pride.
There really only seem to be three groups left. The Apocalypse, The Resilience, and The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen. Everyone else moves aimlessly throughout the United States Wrestling Federation.

Proving Ground Match
Haku [The Apocalypse] defeats Jerry Saggs
The Nasty Boys have petitioned once again to become members of The Apocalypse. This time, instead of outright denial, they were given an opportunity to prove themselves. However, they were told they needed to prove themselves in singles action. Saggs had the challenge of proving himself against a member of The Apocalypse. Saggs got his ass kicked by Haku. Some of these other matches needed some time. We’re not doing the Tony Khan 20 minute over run here. We got deadlines.
Proving Ground Match
Eddie Kingston defeats Brian Knobbs
Eddie Kingston is frustrated with Terry Funk. He also wants to prove that he will fight against The Apocalypse. Brian Knobbs wants to be a member of The Apocalypse. While The Resilience doesn’t see him as a valuable ally, The Apocalypse does see Eddie Kingston as a threat. Therefore, if they can get Brian Knobbs to take him out, it would prove his worth. These two went fisticuffs, but ultimately, Eddie Kingston got the win because Brian Knobbs just kinda sucks.
Trios Match
Kerry Von Erich, “Dr. Death” Steve Williams, and “The All-American” Ron Simmons [The Resilience] defeat William Regal, Zack Sabre Jr., and Nigel McGuiness [The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen]
There is bad blood between The Resilience and The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen. Gunther defeated “Dr. Death” Steve Williams in a Proving Ground match. Kerry Von Erich inadvertently cost William Regal the United States Heavyweight Championship. All of their paths have been derailed. Regal critiques The Resilience for refusing the alliance of The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen, but Williams, Von Erich, and Simmons insist they cannot be trusted. Zack Sabre, Jr. and Nigel McGuiness have yet to pick up a win, and they are desperate to prove themselves to Regal. The trios match proves to be a donnybrook. They fight all over the arena, and all six men draw blood. After a series of near falls, Kerry Von Erich offers his hand to William Regal. As the Brit hesitates, Dr. Death hits Regal in the back of the head with his cowboy boot. Von Erich pins Regal. After the match, Williams says if they’ll do that to men they respect, imagine what they’ll do to The Apocalypse.
United States Heavyweight Championship Match
Terry Funk defeats Bam Bam Bigelow [The Apocalypse] ©
The Godfather of Extreme Wrestling, Terry Funk, has been incensed since he lost to Gunther. He has been determined to take down The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen. However, anyone who’s been around the game as long as Funk knows that there’s more than one way to assert your dominance on an enemy. Funk was determined to do the thing that Regal couldn’t do. He wanted to defeat Bam Bam Bigelow. He wanted to become United States Heavyweight Champion so he could rub it in William Regal’s face. However, overcoming the Beast of the East was no easy task. Funk went to train far away. He isolated himself from the world in order to get to the place where he could beat the Beast. Bam Bam Bigelow didn’t fear Terry Funk. Bam Bam Bigelow didn’t fear any man breathing. Alas, the two warriors commenced in battle. Ultimately, the match served as a war of endurance. An attempt by both men to wear the other down to achieve superiority. Haku and The Nasty Boys showed up when things were looking in Terry’s favor. Eddie Kingston came out to fight them, but he couldn’t do it on his own. To the shock of many, but none more than Funk himself, Regal, McGuiness, and ZSJ came down to even the odds. Funker landed a moonsault on Bam Bam and captured the United States Heavyweight Championship.
World Tag Team Championship Match
No Disqualification Match
Strike Force (Tito Santana and Ricky Martel) defeat Vader and Sid [The Apocalypse] ©
In Episode One, Tito and Ricky EARNED their shot at the World Tag Team Championships, but the truth as everyone knows it is that The Apocalypse has been unstoppable. Sid and Vader were the first team to hold championships from The Apocalypse, and their mysterious investor has been very proud of their performance. They will do whatever it takes to keep their championships. There is no shortcut they will not take. Santana and Martel want a fair shot at the World Tag Team Championships. They feel like they’ve earned that opportunity. They also know they’re up against one of the most heinous, devious groups known to man. They also know they may not have a lot of allies, but The Apocalypse has a lot of enemies. Tito and Ricky make a shocking petition to USWF management. They want a no disqualification match. If they win the match by disqualification, they don’t win the titles, and there are too many variables that could get in their way. Especially, when the mysterious investor limits how often The Apocalypse can defend their championships. Vader and Sid don’t care. They agree to the stipulation. More opportunity for them to cause destruction. It also opens up the opportunity for their men to help them win the match.
During Terry Funk’s championship celebration, Funk, Kingston, and The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen offer to stand guard during the World Tag Team Championship Match. Vader and Sid use their pure dominance to make Santana and Martel’s futures look bleak. Ron Simmons, Kerry Von Erich, and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams of The Resilience come down, but Regal and The Sportsmen don’t want to let them through. Funk and Regal get into an argument and begin fighting. Then, Bigelow and Haku jump The Resilience. The Nasty Boys come through the crowd with chairs and attempt to attack Strike Force, but they miss and hit Vader. Santana and Martel steal the steel and go to town on Knobbs, Saggs, Vader, and Sid. Martel locks Sid in the Boston Crab, and Vader is about to break it when Santana hits him with the flying forearm! Sid taps out.
World Heavyweight Championship Match
Fatal Fourway
Gunther [The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen] defeats Bryan Danielson, John “Bradshaw” Layfield [The Resilience], and Stan Hansen [The Apocalypse] ©
Due to the stipulation of their trios match in Episode Two, Bryan Danielson is forbidden from another singles match with Stan Hansen for the World Heavyweight Championship. Danielson is very creative though, and he has found a loophole to the situation. He files a petition for Hansen to defend the championship in a multi-person match. Hansen isn’t sure he believes that there are multiple people who deserve a shot at his championship, but the USWF feels otherwise. The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen petition for Gunther to be a part of the match. He has an impressive resume with victories over Terry Funk and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams. Another person who campaigns for a spot in the match is John “Bradshaw” Layfield. He insists that a member of The Resilience getting a shot against Hansen is the only thing that can save the USWF. To the surprise of some, management agrees to give Layfield the shot. Maybe if only to get him to stop calling their offices. Bryan Danielson now has three giant roadblocks between himself and the World Heavyweight Championship. He also vowed to sleigh The Apocalypse. Gunther has overcome impressive challenges, but never anything like this. Layfield always seems to have a plan. He says he doesn’t want to fight Danielson, a man he respects, and he asks him once more to lead The Resilience. Danielson says if he fails to recapture the World Heavyweight Championship, he will join The Resilience. As for Hansen, he will do whatever it takes to keep his championship.
After the chaos in both previous championship matches, the locker rooms were evacuated. The building was put on lockdown. Nobody was coming back in, and anyone who might want to interfere was out. Danielson and Layfield worked together in the beginning. They did their best to take Gunther out of the equation while Hansen sort of laid low. With Gunther hurting on the floor, Danielson and Layfield took their sights to Hansen. The team seemed to be working quite well until Stan lariated Layfield nearly knocking him out. Danielson broke the pin, and then, he encountered the man who took the championship from him. Danielson threw a flurry of kicks and sustained a lot of Hansen’s offense though it was wearing on him. The crowd was fully behind Danielson as he chopped down the big tree. Gunther tried to take Danielson out, but he fought Gunther and Hansen with a storm of kicks and strikes. Layfield came back to go after Gunther. Danielson then hit Hansen with the Busaiku Knee! He locked in the LeBell Lock, but Hansen powered out of it. He nearly kicked Hansen’s head off before going for the LeBell Lock again. The referee is in position when Gunther powerbombs Layfield off the top rope! He goes for the pin. The referee turns to make the count, and Gunther wins right before Hansen taps out. The Queen’s Royal Sportsmen have possession of the World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan Danielson agrees to join The Resilience. The Apocalypse has lost all of their championships. What happens next?
