I can't stress enough how stupid this was. Nothing against Mariah or Willow getting a main event.. but after that Joe/Jericho bit I just kinda tuned out. I'd already likely seen the MOTN and definitely the biggest draw.

Only thing I can think of was this was earlier in the night so they could do the match they needed to do without too much focus on time, and they could cut time for the rest of the card if needed.

Or Tony is starting to care about ratings and wanted to shore up the first hour ratings for some reason. But time makes more sense since that was a PPV quality match.

Ospreay cut a great promo to open the show. Easily the best promo he's done. MJF with a fine retort. I'm loving this more low-key heel MJF.

Agreed, Hangman/Danielson not main eventing is insane. Good match but suffered from too many shenanigans. Hangman/White was better.

Wrestlers saying the word "bitch" feels like an in-joke. Ospreay said it, Moné said it, Swerve said it (albeit talking to Okada), and I'm sure one other wrestler said it.

Jericho and co. are doing awful things to fellow wrestlers, but I don't give a single flying fuck.

Willow vs Mariah was a fine main event. I'm glad the Statlander interference didn't directly lead to the finish. Rollup spam for the win. I can't say I expected that. Mariah May vs Toni Storm. Wow. Didn't expect a turn so quickly either. What a ballsy way to end the show. Mariah May, the lackey, has become a huge threat in a few short minutes.

Swerve vs Okada and MJF vs Ospreay next week is insane. MJF vs Ospreay is surely going to be some clusterfuck no-contest to set up Wembley, if the match happens at all. I also don't see Swerve vs Okada ending clean. It will be a Blood and Guts preview clusterfuck.

I get it now that we know how Dynamite ended. You have to end the show with that, which is fine. And it's all anyone is talking about today.

But you're also not the only person to say exactly this. People on wreddit said the same thing. The show draaaagged after Danielson/Hangman and I can totally get why people would have tuned out.

Jericho stuff was really just to write off Joe for several months.
