I don’t know a year where this many RBs have changed teams in an off season. So many big names who went elsewhere to get the big bucks.
Who do you think has a better season and career moving forward? Who’s in the best situation short term and long term?
For some, this might be their final stop before exiting the NFL. For better or for worse.
Rank’em, talk about it, vote. I just want to know where everyone’s heads are at with these guys this coming season.
Plus I miss football and want to talk about shit.

Derrick Henry is an easy choice here. For some reason people seem to have downgraded him from elite status even though he's still performing at a very high level. Moving from one of the league's worst o-lines to a top-10 unit (plus Lamar) should see him flourish.
The guys he has replaced will also do well in LA because Harbaugh and Roman will pound the rock, even though they'll both inevitably get injured.
I also like Aaron Jones outlook this season, he'll be motivated by the Packers hardballing him, and Minnesota are likely to become a lot more balanced offensively than they have been with Cousins, whether it's Darnold or McCarthy at QB.

I just wrote like three paragraphs and the whole page just reloaded and lost it all. Anyways, here’s my rankings.
1: Barkley (Too obvious to be wrong) 2: Henry (Two years tops though) 3: Mixon (Explosive offense, will look really good again) 4: Jacobs (Fun offense but don’t Aaron Jones him and have Dillon steal too much work) 5: Pollard (He went from everyone’s favorite breakout last offseason to forgotten, I’ll give him another chance.) 6: Moss (Good situation with Burrow, will get lots of goal line tuddies which will keep his career going) 7: Jones (Injury prone and Minnesota just feels like a hot mess right now) 8: Gus/Dobbins (Coin flip on who stands out, if any do) 9: Ekeler (Out of the NFL in 3 years tops)
Realistically I can see minimum 6 of these guys out of the NFL in no more than 3 seasons from now. I think Barkley and Jacobs are the only safe bets for longevity.

Ekeler could do damage if he's unleashed as a PPR catcher in WSH
Sleeper is Devin Singletary to the Giants. Not sure how fast Nabers will catch onto the offense and the Giants don't have much at TE and have iffy WRs so they will try and run the ball. I would assume Daboll isn't crazy enoguh to run Daniel Jones to the ground so Singletary could get used as a workhorse and could put up good numbers.

Obviously I have high hopes for Jacobs moving from his offense to Green Bay’s is huge and still being with a coach who will commit to the run game. I’m not sure on his total numbers but I’d be surprised if he didn’t have 10 touchdowns.
Also wouldn’t worry as much about Dillon with Jacobs. He was barely brought back on a very minimum deal and is 3rd on tbr depth chart right now.
I worry about Jones in Minnesota. I don’t trust 3/5 of their line or their QB play. He will have his moments but I’m not sure how consistent he can be.

I always worry about pass catching RBs with run firsts QBs as their first instinct isn’t to check the ball down - it’s to take off. I think Ekeler struggles immensely. Also really like the Moss to Cincy signing. Mixon wasn’t good and always seemed slow and too patient. I think Moss can be a great fit there and breakout even more as long as everyone around him on the offense stays healthy.

It's already sounding like heading towards a genuine timeshare between him and Chase Brown. Moss is great in pass protection so I think that's one of the reasons Cincinatti opted for him rather than some of the other guys on the market, but Brown is more dynamic and showed some pretty elite tackle breaking ability (albeit in a small sample size). I think the Bengals backfield will end up very similar to Tennessee's with Pollard and Spears - both guys get around 200 touches each for the season assuming they stay healthy.

I'm biased but I think Zack Moss is going to surprise some people this year. I'll miss Mixon's explosiveness but Moss might just fit our system even better in the long run.
I'm hoping I'm wrong about Jacobs and it's just the Aaron Jones butthurt blinders that are obscuring my vision.
My vote goes to sharing a division w/Derrick Henry+Lamar paired together though cause that bullshit is scary on paper. Why can't the rest of the AFC North just suck all at once just once in my lifetime?

One day it’s Moss is much better and the next day it’s Brown is looking the best. I think it’s basically reporting of who THEY want to be the best. In reality, it’ll be a 1A/1B situation.
