I have a $6K king bed. It’s an absolute luxury, and is 17” tall (so we get special sheets).
My wife and I both use our own comforters, partially because we like different weights and partially because our bulldog sleeps between us but refused to be *under* the covers.
We also have an adjustable base, and it’s a cool gimmick but not necessary.

Queen sized Tuft and Needle. Flannel sheets in the winter are the best.

A king bed is a lifesaver if you sleep with a partner (plus a dog in my case).
We're doona rather than top sheet people, and have two wool blankets on at the moment because it's cold.

Due to my condition, it's very difficult for me to be comfortable lying flat, I no longer sleep in my queen bed and sleep on my La-z-boy recliner so I can have my feet raised. I do have a comforter. It's the only way I can get any sleep. It's a little odd, but it works for me.

King sized bed. Mrs. Foos and I use separate blankets. She uses a legit comforter. I use a $20 fuzzy blanket from Costco. Sharing covers never worked for us...mainly because she always pulled them off of me. One pillow each, but man we spent money on those. Prior to my neck surgery, I absolutely needed something for my neck. I spent I think $150 on it and I love it!

We have an expensive king side bed, I have this weird conspiracy theory that when you try the mattress in the store and love it, when you order it and get it delivered it never seems as good as it did in the shop. I am a terrible sleeper and have tried every configuration of pillows known to man with no success. Part of the problem is that I have incredible broad shoulders, if I lie on my side without a pillow it will be top of my head that touches the mattress.

Part of the problem is that I have incredible broad shoulders, if I lie on my side without a pillow it will be top of my head that touches the mattress. If you weren't a million miles away and we looked anything alike, I'd swear we were separated at birth. I sleep in a queen. It's just me, so I feel that's plenty of room as I have never slept on the left hand side of my bed. I turn my mattress to make up for that but I miss when you used to be able to flip your mattress and get 4 uses out of it (I'm old). I used to need a firm mattress for my back, but my bed is like concrete. I currently have a 3" foam topper on it, but the bed still cripples me. Should I go and buy a new one? Of course. But like iNCY, I don't trust my bed testing skills. I have bought all manner of mattresses and you don't even want to know how much I've spent on pillows and I still seem to get a better sleep in the chair in the living room or one of the couches. Of course this is after I am beyond exhausted and am likely to drop just about anywhere.

Queen, one pillow and the fitted sheet is what goes on the mattress right? But it comes with another sheet on top? Yeah I sleep with just the sheet, no blanket.

One standing up against the headboard. The one I lay my head on. One beside the one I lay my head on. One vertical to that one I kind of cuddle with on my side and one decorative WW one my friend made that often ends up on the floor.

King in one bedroom. I got a really good deal on a new mattress at a scratch and dent mattress store, but it's a little softer that I like, but not too bad. The window unit blows across it so I usually sleep under a lite blanket in that room. Twin in the other bedroom and its firmness is almost perfect. No AC in that room so usually use just a sheet. And yes I sleep in both rooms. When my back is acting up I'll sleep on the twin. Other times on the king.
As far as pillows go I usually sleep on one. I use to use a my pillow. Still do very now and them. It's actually pretty good. The guy at the scratch and dent mattress store through in some pillows with the king mattress and they are really good. The downside is its the long king pillows and I prefer the regular size ones but for the price I can not complain.

I am 100% a monogamy guy... But committing to just two pillows forever... I know I'm going to stray. One of the only areas where my wife and I differ greatly on matters of great importance is where she is a great fan of the throw cushion and to me it's just a nonsense routine of removing cushions that must be endured daily... Also if it was me, the only time I'd make the bed is upon changing the sheets. I take no pleasure in a made bed and I don't understand the point of making it... Jordan Peterson would not approve of me.
