Kid's offence looks great, he has the #2 QB, #1 RB, nice range of skills at WR, and #1 LT. But his defence is the very definition of boom or bust. He's got the three Chargers who are good for the one game of the season they all suit up together, and then he's also got highlight reel guys who might not show up every down like Vita Vea and Trevon Diggs.

CM Punk'd got the huge Mahomes advantage off the bat, but I like his strategy of picking guys with chemistry. He ensured he got Kelce and reunited the future HOF pairing from the Cowboys on the offensive line. His weakness is also on his defence because he's drafted three EDGE rushers, which will leave him very exposed in the middle of the field. ANAL ZONE is going to have his head spinning trying to cover McCaffrey and Kupp between the hashes, and I don't think he has the dogs in the secondary to help cover that, especially as most of them are coming off down seasons. 

So Kid gets the win in a high scoring contest.

So it’s weird I feel like each guy drafted rosters for the opposite guys quarterbacks. I don’t love that Kid doesn’t have as many jump ball winners - he’s got some incredible route runners and guys who could get separation but I don’t always feel like that mends with Allen who can be erratic - where’s as any receivers could fit with Mahomes I think he’d have a field day with Adams and Kupp in the seams.

In the end I think it would be CMAC with 31 catches to win the game. Punkd only has two true corners on his team and one “slow” linebacker as Reddick isn’t playing in space. And that would kill him in this format.

Mahomes would try his best but the ball control of Allen picking up 6 yards at will would just keep Mahomes off the field.

Kid wins.

I think the back end of CM Punk'd side gets hit a little here. Reddick is a very good sack artist and is an underrated run stopper but it's asking him a lot on a 4-2-5 DEF to have to be containment and cover the intermediate and I don't think Anzalone is great(He's solid) which is what it's going to take to take down Kid's route running heavy short-intermediate players. Think that Hutchinson vs Braden Smith rightside matchup is what CM Punk'd needs to do damage to Kid's offense, to force Josh Allen to be erratic but even then he can bail out of the pocket and charge at the 2 LB group or ask a slot CB or S to come at him after the 7-10 yard gain.

Brisker or Slay going against Dell is asking for a Josh Allen bomb too I feel. If this was the Slay of like 2-3 years ago, I feel more comfortable with him on iso running down speed but I have questions going into the 2024 year, the defense's downfall was largely on the defensive coordinator swaps but it was also on the decline of CB play on the team that got exploited. Fangio has his work cut out for him to scheme it where that won't be an issue going into this season. Brisker being asked to play slot CB.

I can see Punk's side trying to take McCaffrey out of the running game as I think Punk's DTs can beat Kid's Interior O-Line but does too much damage as a catcher to be fully negated. Too much toys for Kid's offense to play with, very tough matchup for plenty. It would take a very off game on Allen's part where he is throwing INTs or fumbles to give CM Punk'd's side a chance.

Best way for PUnk'd to win this is long drives from Maholmes even if the Achane home run hit is tempting, his defense will need breathers. I think his offense has a shot to do so but I think the firepower of Kid's offense is really good and if Kid gets a lead, it puts the entire weight on Mahomes to work magic with Kelce, St Brown, Metcalf.

BUT

I will tell you that I do feel like my team is unstoppable. Although some would say my defense is boom or bust. Now let’s say my defense is “busting”, my offense is too high paced and good to slow down. So how do you outscore an offense with guys like CMC, Davante, Kupp and Laporta on it. Who’s going to stop Tank Dell from flying past everyone when the defense is forced to try and stop the excellent route running of Adams and Kupp? Who’s going to stop the tank Laporta from being open almost every play? The answer is nobody.

Then if my defense is “booming” and getting Pick 6s, sack fumbles, etc then the games will be 30 point blowouts.

Also @hr can we steal from opponents if you win? We can even had a rule that QBs, RBs and WRs are not allowed to be stolen if it keeps it more fair.
