They don't have a deal discussed but they will plan to try and iron something out prior to the start of the season. Nick Wright and other mucks won't talk about that part though the way they did with Reddick and the Jets.

Sorry if that post yesterday sounded dickish, that wasn't my intention. I didn't mean all injury news is irrelevant, just that a lot of the instant Twitter reports about guys going down end up being nothing. Obviously this is a big blow to a team that already feels a bit on the edge.

The teams are the Patriots, Chargers, Bengals, Titans, Commanders, Cardinals, Bears and Panthers.


I think out of those teams the Patriots and Chargers are the only two realistically to have a 0% shot.

I think it’ll be harder for teams like the Cardinals to do it because of San Francisco, but we haven’t seen a fully healthy Kyler Murray in a while and he now got Marvin the Martian. I’d give them a 5% chance on that alone.

The Commanders have an equally tough division as the Cards, but what if Daniels pulls a Stroud? Same could be said for Caleb and the Bears. Wouldn’t it fit the Texans model better if a rookie QB led the way?

Bengals, Titans and yes even the Panthers have a shot at doing it because one team has Joe Burrow and the other two teams play in winnable divisions.


I think if a team does do it, I would love for it to be the Bengals. That means Burrow is back to being healthy and that offense is clicking. That equals good football and the possible continuation of the Bengals/Chiefs rivalry.

Joe's a man on a mission this year. O-line isn't top tier but better than the SB run and if Mims acclimates fast then we could be scary.

I dunno if its a SB year but if everyone stays healthy, we're better than Browns/Steelers and can more than hang w/Baltimore. I think we either end up in tie-breaker'd or split hairs on 1 game for the division title.

I just feel like Williams is going to be good. Reading too much into pre season maybe, but I would be stunned if he doesn’t make his mark in his first season.

Pretty chill league. Mostly offensive scoring + team defence. Misc points are pick six/fumble TD gets you big points. The rest is standard scoring for each position. Picking QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 TE, 1 WR/TE, Kicker and a defence. 5 bench spots.

Dameon Pierce looks like a compete bust. Such a shame, I thought he had real potential as a breakout back. Maybe a different system would suit him.

I believe I claimed my place on the bandwagon during nailpolishgate but I'd be genuinely surprised if he isn't great at this point. Hard Knocks can make you believe in anyone, but he just seems like the complete package. The arm talent on this throw was incredible:

It has to be that he can't succeed in zone scheme because he's more of a breaking tackles runner rather than a one-cut guy. He looked so great as a rookie I almost hope they cut him so he can catch on somewhere else.

Kyle Shanahan is not calling plays so far this preseason doubt that’s going to carried through the regular season.

I know it’s only preseason but Dominick Puni have been looking really good at right guard hoping and he should get the starting nod at RG over Buford.

He’s putting himself in the running for biggest draft bust ever. The only reason why it’s not more at the forefront now is because the 49ers have had success in spite of it but terms of position/capital mixed with how terrible he is and the case can be made.

The amount of busts we’ve had at QBs drafted top 10 have made it more of a norm then anything. It saved Jamarcus Russell from having his name being used so freely.

This years class should add to the list too.

Packers trading a 7th for Malik Willis to be the backup…. Blech. I’d rather we just stuck with Pratt.

AJ Dillon placed on IR. This sucks for the dude - I’ve been hard on him in the past but by all accounts he was in absurd shape this year (not the cliche kind) and was looking great. Would have loved to see him bounce back for us this year in a reserve role.

Dude has taken to the city and the team faster than anyone I can remember.

Lloyd made the initial 53 so I don’t see him going on IR. Emmanuel Wilson would be the early handcuff and that kid has some juice - the main issue with losing Dillon is his pass pro so hopefully Jacobs is ready for that.
