Would like to hear how everyone would handle Shane O' in AEW. I'll start ...
Since Tony is someone who the fans can buy as a bit of an idiot (or a total idiot), I'd insert Shane into the company via a deal that is brokered between Warner Brothers and Shane without Tony's knowledge. WB gives Tony a money deal on TV rights which is 'everything he wants' (Tony fanboys and signs, bypassing Megha and his legal scholars), but the fine print indicates that Shane will "promote" Collision. It's not an invasion angle; Collision will compete with Dynamite, and the two will have separate rosters. Shane actually books Collision, besides being its "talking head" on-air, so they really are almost two different promotions for all intents and purposes.
I have always been interested in what Shane looks like as a booker, since he never really got the chance in WWE. He should be motivated, but that also doesn't mean that Dynamite and Collision won't just be two different flavors of trainwreck. It'd be interesting to see, either way.
What are your ideas? Shane almost kills himself fairly regularly in the ring, so it's not like AEW isn't the place ... There are so many options. 😂

I would not even have him for that. His honest best role would be advisor to Tony about running a fed. Not because he knows about running a great fed, but more in he was around WWE for a lot of problematic shit and knows how his dad would have dealt with it.
Likely the only role Shane has is as a fan of wrestling, and someone Tony looks up to. You know Tony like most wrestling fans was a Shane fan. I do not see Shane starting shit with his family by appearing for AEW though.

I just hope he doesn't do a repeat of his WCW appearance, wink to the camera and talk about his name being on the contract and then book himself into working matches.

Shane/Ospreay AEW HIAC let's fucking go! I don't know why, but I had that same thought. I pray we don't have a 54 year old Shane McMahon jobbing out guys like Will. It was bad enough Shane thought he could hang in WWE against some of the best.

Shane's last few appearances been rough, think even he knows his time is up.
Only thing I would dig is Shane on commentary as the dude always was a fan of wrestling and think would have a blast calling a PPV. But unless Shane does a classic Shane business move, he should be far too expensive to bring in just for commentary.
But do think people read far too much into this meeting, was likely Tony just wanting to shoot the shit with Shane.

Would Shane feel a compulsion to "redeem" himself after his injury nothingburger vs. the Miz at WM39? Let's not forget that two of Shane's closest pals in the biz, Cage and Copeland, are in AEW; and Copeland himself is clearly doing crazy sh*t at an advanced age, what with flying off the cage at Double or Nothing.

What's the point?
Advertising that you both had a meeting says it was all for a bit of PR than anything else.
Bringing in Shane does what?
Pops those ratings for a week? Ratings don't matter, and it's only ever short term.
Does it give TK someone to look up to?
The man bought in Arn, Jericho, Henry, Show, Sting, etc and despite all of that TK managed to isolate and excommunicate Cody, allow a situation like Punk beating up The Bucks then later Punk beating up Perry to happen, and now MJF with a back full of acne and roid rage is going into women's locker-rooms and punching holes in the wall. On top of a clearly drunk on his own power Jericho stinking up the place and, God... where do I start with Sammy? How much guidance does a man in his 40s need before he shows some leadership?
And Shane. It would appear most fans and WWE itself were happy to see him go. He booked himself into matches he had no right to be in, and was pretty much booted because his ego was out of control.
Good luck.

I'd rather not, largely for the reason Nath brought up, but let's say we had to. I'd go in your direction sting. I'd make an official press announcement, give Shane some made up title and use his arrival to rejuvenate Collision. I'd have him sign talent to exclusive contracts, he'd have exclusive access to titles and the whole presentation would be more sports focused. I'd also hire Aaron Sorkin to write one speech on AEW, just to bring the mikec eyeballs, but also to give us one decent promo.
