Austin put over Rock on his way out, before returning nearly twenty years later; Rock put over Cena at their WrestleMania rematch, and Cena has put over talent like Reigns, Solo and Theory in his final years. Who should have Hogan put over on his way out?
I really think Hogan was capable of a match without taking a bump as recently as a few years back. Daniel Bryan could have been a great opponent to "end Hulkamania", and effect the necessary smoke and mirrors to carry the old dog. The finish in my head is Bryan interrupts Hogan "hulking up" with the "Yes Kicks", eventually taking Hogan down to one knee as he unleashes strikes, and then the two just milk the moment as Hogan looks up with despair at Bryan. Bryan delivers one last kick, this time to Hogan's head; he falls over from one knee, chopping down the great oak, and Bryan covers for 1, 2, 3 . . .
Match could have been filled with standard big man/underdog fare, like a series of 'tests of strength' where Bryan is overpowered, and Hogan executing moves that he is still capable of, like scoop slams, headlocks, clotheslines, etc.
What should have been Hogan's last match? Who should he have put over, when/where?

Hogan never wrestling again after WM18 is probably the best case scenario for everyone (Hogan himself, and people that had to watch Hogan wrestle after WM18).

The Brock match. In this case, it would’ve taken place on a PPV with a build instead of a random Smackdown.
Hogan’s ego would never allow that to happen.

vs. Vince at Wrestlemania 19 would have been a nice way to go out.

He'd never put over someone like Bryan. He'd "job" for Lesnar, Cena, maybe Orton...
--But I take a time machine, roll for initiative: convince Hogan to switch to a sleeper hold finisher, avoid Pastamania, not be such a compulsive lying prick, take some acting lessons and do the Rock/Brock routine...
Put over Savage on the way out to Hollywood, come back for nWo, lose clean to Sting, leave in '98-99, put over Rocky in '02, Mr. America + reveal, "retire" against Austin/Flair/Lesnar/Edge, etc.
Less back problems now, stays in relatively decent shape, don't get cucked or drop N bombs... then get absolutely fucking wrecked by WALTER, brother.
That would definitely work for me.
