It does not have to be the lead ensemble, per se, that you are recasting; it could also just be the lead actor, or someone in a supporting role, etc.



I've always thought Dolph Ziggler would make a really good WWE Films Snake Plissken. The original movie has too lofty a reputation here, but Escape from L.A. is fair game. (But what if Ziggler turned out to have amazing acting chops? 😲).


• Damian Priest in any number of Steven Seagal movies. I feel like Priest gives me "unbeatable badass in B-movies" vibes.

• Shawn and Hunter in Wedding Crashers.

• Rockstar - Seth Rollins as Mark Wahlberg.

• Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story - Chad Gable as Ben Stiller. Trish Stratus as Christine Taylor. Scott Steiner as "Me'Shell".

• Field of Dreams - CM Punk as Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Just some that I am spitballing. These can be as dumb or as well thought-out as you'd like. What are you recasting? 🤔

I've always wanted to see Paul Heyman casted as The Penguin.

You could basically replace any henchman or villain in any Wesley Snipes or Lorenzo Lamas movie with Brian Pillman and it would be solid gold. In my 1996 fan fiction he becomes a quasi-celebrity by running onto the football field and exposing himself during Super Bowl XXX in Arizona(a stunt he was legit planning on doing in real life, but couldn't get a field pass to the game), then goes on Montell Williams show to expose all the secrets of pro wrestling after being "fired" by the wrestling fed for some "I Respect You Bookerman" incidents, then does a round on all of the action TV shows at the time guest starring on Walker Texas Ranger, Renegade, Baywatch, maybe X-Files before dying in a car wreck like 18 months earlier than he did in real life.
