This round is for songs that are about places. The city or country doesn't have to be in the title necessarily but the song has to be very clearly about somewhere not just containing a tangential reference.
I'm planning on doing one more round after this to make an even 10 - we can always do a second season in the future if you guys are keen.

"St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Blues" is my clear cut favorite here. I am a fan of meandering lyrics that are searching for catharsis lol ... all that was missing here was a well-placed guttural scream at the end of a crescendo! 😂

1 4 6 8 9 11 Top 3 4 8 11 Some absolute bangers and tough matchups on there. A couple of great Canadian bands. Up top to whoever chose City and Colour. Dallas Green is a National treasure. A few songs I've never heard before and highly enjoyed. I'm with sting "St.Paul Missionary Baptist Church Blues" by La Dispute was a great surprise. Really enjoyed this round.
