Oh I don’t think there’s any doubt that he’s homophobic, just couldn’t remember those headlines.

Chiefs cannot use this punter to punt from midfield on 4th and 5. He’s never had any touch with his punting, you’re only gaining 20-30 yards in field position, and you have the best QB in football. Just go for it.

I hated it when I seen they were punting. Don’t understand that call at all. Especially with Mahomes and Kelce or Rice who’s separating all night.

That 100% should have been a flag.

What a game, great start to the season.

God damn that was close, tie game if he could have aimed that toe downward instead of landing flat footed.

Chiefs still need to get drops under control, would have had a comfortable lead.

I wanted overtime for fantasy/betting reasons but they were going to go for 2 anyways so I’ll take the 1-0 start.

All the Lamar naysayers probably salivating on that 2nd to last missed easy TD throw to Flowers. That's a must have and one that Lamar Jackson will have on his back for 10 days for sure. Can't miss that, Flowers was wide open. 

Chiefs pretty lucky and I love Harbaugh going for the kill shot IF the toe was down, especially on the road.

Great game altogether.

Game was emblematic of a consistent issue for Lamar, he’s got the best legs on a QB ever, but he has a tendency to hit high or behind on high pressure throws, was openings throughout the game if he could just dial it in a little. It’s only the first game so it’s at least expected to start a bit shaky, but it’s been pretty consistent throughout his career. He’s not too far off, is good at getting it in the general area, just needs to tighten up just a little and could be the scariest guy in the league.

The Chiefs did an excellent job keeping Henry off of the field tonight. That Baltimore O-Line will be their demise this season.

Death, taxes, and the Chiefs winning by one score. :lol: This really felt like a carbon copy of basically every game we have watched for the last few years. Mahomes does just enough to win against a good defence by repeatedly shrugging away from sacks to keep drives alive, and then coming up with one fluky moment that makes all the difference. The only real difference is that they have some speed on their offence again. mikec already mentioned it but I knew as soon as the Bills passed on Worthy (and maybe Keon Coleman turns out to be a good player too) that it would come back to haunt the rest of the league for years to come, and it's already started.

And on the other side it was the ultimate Lamar Jackson game. We were promised a return to something resembling 2019 running Lamar and that's exactly what we got. He was back to his dynamic best in that department, but if he continues to try and truck defenders like that he will get again injured at some point before the end of the season. And then he missed those two wide open chances to tie it at the end which will have people calling him a choker again. Everything changes but it all stays the same.

I really enjoyed the game. I had a feeling going into this season that the Ravens would struggle more than people think with all the turnover they’ve had in key positions. Now I’m not so sure as they showed a lot here. Likely was incredible in this game, it was almost cruel in the end that he’d be the one with his toe out of bounds. Agree with what everyone has said about Lamar, this was almost a stereotype of a Lamar game. He has to make that throw on second down at the end of the game.

The biggest revelation of this game to me was Worthy, who seems likely to turn the Chiefs offense from the unappealing efficiency monster of a year ago to something eminently more watchable. Really good start to the season.
