Packers kicking woes gonna cost them some games, IDK who is even available. I actually hope they don't sign Austin Seibert who is the designated backup kicker in NYJ if something happens to Greg the Leg.

And now Hurts gets away with a telegraphed pick six. Bad drop by Nixon, that woulda been huge.

WHat the fuck was that by Hurts?
Never ever throw running on the outside to the middle, especially with multiple defenders in the vicinity.

New season same bullshit. Undisciplined hack fucking football.
Receivers wide open.
Can’t tackle.
Collapse in the biggest moments.
And of course a huge missed kick.

Joe Barry would be proud at this bullshit pathetic performance.
The NFL should feel disgraced this is the product they put on the field to open the season. Terrible field quality that they are lucky didn’t end someone’s season but clearly affected the game. Some absurd officiating and amount of flags on both sides. What a shit game to watch.

Hope all is okay with Love, that's such a rough injury to get tattooed while in the grasp of another defender. Smart play to get the ball out with no TO's in a lateral.

Hurts did not look amazing out there. Definitely some more than questionable throws, at least one of them being just dumb ... makes you wonder what this game would have looked like without Barkley.

Why was the crowd so bad? Do they not actually like football?
Anyway it ended up being a good game after looking for most of the first half like a pre-season game. Fingers crossed for Love. Obviously it doesn’t look good.

Don’t even know what to think about Love. Obviously Twitter doctors are all over the place and his body language was weird.
Schmeidman said he seen him leave the locker room under his own power without much of a noticeable limp but who even knows what that means. If he is out the season is over obviously, I hope the douchebag Packed fans cheering Rodgers injury last year choke on the karma and lay in a grave somewhere.
As for the team, sloppy and stupid play all around but we still only lost by 5 in a really fucked up situation against a top NFC contender. It’s not super concerning and stuff that can easily correct itself.
The onus of all this falls on the NFL. No the field wasn’t the main culprit on the exact play Love got injured but don’t kid yourself that the constant slipping and over extensions don’t take its toll. It’s a joke they allowed this game to go on with those field conditions and not only negatively impacted the rest of their season for one of their most popular teams but put out one of the worst products imaginable for much of that game.
I’m all for expanding the NFL into other markets but not at those costs. Player safety was put on the sideline for a money grab. A billion dollar company should have a far better system in place to make sure the conditions are fit for an NFL game.

Also not that it means anything significant but usually if it is a complete tear or season ending they have a good idea after even the on field tests and there are reports of “Packers fear Love tore ACL”.
Just a weird situation.

Just a weird situation. Was he the player who kept having calf cramps during the game? I saw them using the massage gun on someone’s calf, but didn’t see/hear who it was. Maybe it was the calf.

I had to highlight this man, you deserve so much credit for stating this. I hate anyone who cheers for injuries in any sport unless they're a legit evil human being, regardless of team or whatever. Rooting for them to fail is fine but injuries suck man, especially when a team's season banks so heavily on a player like GB has with Love. That pissed me off seeing Packer fans at the bar cheering when he went down with the Achilles injury and as someone who saw their team's year blow up due to the loss of a QB in Week 1, I hope yall don't experience the same fate. It's just cruel. I saw Ryan Tannehill being floated around, he's not great but he is probably more NFL ready than Malik Willis who was acquired like a week ago would be. I would like to see GB go out and get Mike White who did good for lil' LeFleur in NY, White's stuck as Josh Allen's backup(Or Trubisky is QB2?). Mike White isn't great but he has some moments of steady play.

ACL being intact is a huge relief though.

Not an ACL tear is huge news even if he misses a month or so. That would have been the Packers season but if it ends up being a manageable injury they'll be fine.
That game last night was pathetic. I hope the NFL never goes back. Whoever was in charge of field maintenance should be shot.

+1 for Packers just applying common sense and grabbing Tannehill. Don’t go into these games with Malik Willis.

BAH GAWD THAT'S RYAN TANNEHILL'S MUSIC
3-6 weeks is better news than what could have been. Packers have a pretty favourable schedule early too. No reason why they can't eek out a few wins as long as their defence smartens up and doesn't play like last night.

I hope the NFL never goes back. Whoever was in charge of field maintenance should be shot. Yeah the pictures floating around social media of the field after the game are pathetically embarrassing. I played many of high school games yards from a swamp in rain storms that were in better shape than that was after. Broke ass high school fields in towns of 550 people. The news is solid, not great but could have been worse. Tannehill is the easy option as someone who also knows the offense - or at least the staples of it. I do think we have the talent for Willis to do crazy leg things and get us to 2-2 through weird stat lines and luck. The defense didn’t show out last night but watching a lot of it again, the concepts were there but the execution was off (especially tackling) and we weren’t getting the pressure against a stout offensive line. The could easily change going forward as very few teams have the combination the Eagles to outside and on the line. Quay Walker needs to go to the bench. He just doesn’t have it, for all the natural ability he has the instincts of a spaghetti noodle. Cooper played limited snaps and showed everything you need to know in who should be on the field. Nixon needs to start losing some snaps too , even if it’s Bullard in the slot and Williams playing safety. If it’s truly about getting your best on the field that should be it. So yeah Jacobs and the defense fixing a few things and we can weather the storm. I’d prefer Tannehill as he would be more stable but I don’t think the outcome is largely different either way as the QB isn’t going to be what wins us games in the next month.
