This looks absolutely atrocious. I’ve only seen clips of the US office (same with UK) but this doesn’t even look like it has the same style of comedy nor Australian humour.
Aussie humour more like this:

I’ve only seen clips of the US office (same with UK) but this doesn’t even look like it has the same style of comedy nor Australian humour. Well I half agree, the main problem is that they haven't put any nuance into the characters and settled for cosplaying Michael and Dwight. The reason the Office was the rare successful example of a US version of a UK show is because Michael Scott was his own character, not just a ripoff of David Brent. But yes it's a shame because an authentically Australian Office could have been really funny (we already have Utopia which proves it). They should have tapped some of the writers who worked on Heartbreak High and leant in.

They " Raygun'd " it.
It looks awful.
What's with the wig? Surely that's a wig.
Isn't the whole " cringe " type comedy done? This is probably 15 years too late. We can do comedy in this country, Colin From Accounts and even the humour in Mr.Inbetween are recent examples. But this feels like it's dead in the water already.
News.com.au and Mary Madigan are likely firing up a piece on misogyny giving it's a female lead and online toxicity and " how it needs to be talked about " but, this looks embarrassing.
