Only a few more days until Saturday Night Live returns for its golden anniversary season - and the lineup for the first few shows looks pretty awesome.  plus Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris! I'm particularly looking forward to Nate's episode, the first time he hosted was fantastic, I think about the Washington's Dream sketch all the time.

Bargatze’s George Washington sketch is one of the best things SNL did this century. I’m betting we get a sequel, which will either be phenomenal or terrible - no in between.

Normally the long political intros are my least favourite part but the premiere was a rare example of it being a lot funnier than the rest of the show. Dana Carvey's Biden was so good, and Kamala's campaign being like Espresso: "words are vague but the vibes slap" was my favourite line.

You guessed it, and I think it lived up to the original. Nate's delivery is what really makes it for me, anyone else would overact but his lowkey delivery is what makes it so funny.
