Tonight’s a rare night for wrestling fans, as both NXT and AEW put on their shows on the very same night.

For tonight’s Dynamite, it’s being billed as Title Tuesday.

Tonight’s card includes a double title defence for Mercedes Mone, as she puts both her titles on the line against Emi Sakura.

After the events of last week, Bryan Danielson will team with Wheeler Yuta, to face former BCC mate Claudio Castagnoli & PAC.

Plus HOOK calls out the person or persons responsible for attacking his father Taz last week.

And a pair of exciting young luchadores go at it, when Komander battles Hologram. 

Also, Switchblade Jay White will be here to address the actions of Hangman Adam Page.

The problem with DG is he hasn’t wrestled much lately. He’s one of the best wrestlers AEW has and is only going to get better. When he isn’t in the ring though he’s just kind of there.

I hate to make the comparison but he needs to be someone like Chris Benoit, who let his fists do the talking (bad choice of words, I know). Just show up and kick the shit out of people and leave. When he was winning BOLA and calling himself The Red Death he was that person, and that is what the crowd wants.

I hope he is in the C2 this year and I hope he does what he did last year where he just focuses on whoever his next opponent is and tells a story of a young, talented wrestler who hasn’t proven himself yet. Last year it led to him getting an emotional consolation victory after he had already been eliminated, so this year he should go on a run and be the dark horse that threatens to steal the show.

Last week Stat cut a random promo saying that she was done with Stokely and didn't give a reason. It was weird and the online discourse has basically been "wtf?"

So a lot happened that episode but it all involved the mid card, which is something I wouldn’t mind seeing more of. Felt like everyone had a story tonight and it wasn’t just “look at this match I booked! Crazy, right?”

Keep that up and use this new TV cash injection, and AEW is going to see some major positives in the new year.

and now there's a reason for Yuta to split from Danielson

not back to Claudio/Mox/PAC/Shafir since, y'know, they just tried to break his spleen, but move out of the storyline completely and off to do his own thing and leave Bryan alone against the BCC

I love Bryan but if Yuta turns on him, it is justified.

I’m really hoping there is something more to this angle and it isn’t just Moxley turning heel and Danielson retiring in his home state. I mean if that is what Danielson wants, fine, but the way they are presenting it it feels like something else is going on and if there isn’t a twist I’m gonna be a little bummed.

Since Statlander considered Stokley a business partner, I see her no longer benefiting from Stokley.  Stat hates Wilow, but now that she's done with that business, she can get the TBS title back. All of this is a theory because it is implied. While I got the explanation, it was thin & needed more depth because it was also jarring.
