He’s gonna bang in like 35 and come close then come back next year and do it. He’ll start slow then score like crazy from December onward to make it interesting but come up short.

Random story: I partied with Jessica Campbell, the first female coach in NHL history. She went to Cornell University and so did my sister. My sister was one of the team’s goalies. Jessica joined the team my sister’s senior year.

That year I went down to campus for the last game of the season and the senior send off (basically the team threw a dinner banquet thing and handed out awards to the senior players leaving the team). Afterwards we went to a bar off campus and most of the team was there. My wife and I got drunk with my sister and her team then crashed at my sister’s house.

Actually wait my wife wasn’t drunk. She was pregnant with rt.

Anyway, I once got drunk with the Seattle Kraken’s assistant coach.

Rangers starting off the season to only have an epic collapse in the playoffs... again. Can't wait.

I hate the automatic game misconduct for secondary fights. There is something called emotion sometimes multiple fights happen. Just a meaningless rule to deter rare line brawls.

Players can't sit on the bench with a leg over the boards. One warning then a penalty. The league is so soft. Pretty sure this is not a rule in minor and kids leagues.

The Leafs look incredible so far so naturally I am getting my hopes up so I will be extra devastated in April

The Canucks just scored 3 goals in 1:05 on the Penguins. From being down 2-0 to up 3-2 in 1 minute and 5 seconds is insane.

Leave it to the Leafs to absolutely dominate Tampa, look like total ass against Columbus & St. Louis, lose a heartbreaker in OT to Boston (this is not a recording), then curb stomp the undefeated Winnipeg Jets at home (yeah the Jets fought back but lets be real...refs called like 4 penalties in a row on Toronto and 3 ended up with goals).

I will never understand this team.

Also last night saw Columbus embarrass the Oilers 6-1, and to make matters worse McDavid left with a lower body injury and is flying back to Edmonton for evaluation, meaning he won't be in Nashville on Thursday. That's a huge game for him to miss and clearly he's going to miss some time if they can already tell he needs to fly home.

Then you have Utah up 4-1 on the winless Sharks who decide to score 3 goals in 5 minutes to tie it, then win in OT. You can take the Coyotes out of Arizona but you can't take the Coyotes out of the...Utah...hockey guys....

I thought Utah was a fucking expansion team this whole time. I forgot they were the Coyotes. 🤣

Technically they are both. The NHL is fucking stupid.

They allowed Arizona to basically put the Coyotes on pause as long as they come back under a different owner. In the meantime Utah is both a new team AND has the Coyotes history.

If I’m a Jets fan I am pissed. Atlanta holds on their cool shit from the before times. Also Colorado gets to cosplay as the Nordiques a few times a year and Quebec has to just sit there and take it like that team didn’t win a Cup the same year they moved out of Quebec.

RT even if it's not official, nobody in Winnipeg cares. We all know that Hawerchuk, Selanne, and all the other greats played for the same team in the past, and literally nobody cares about who did what in Atlanta.

Rangers had their worst game of the season against Buffalo. Sabres skated around them and did whatever they wanted with ease. Not a good sign for a "Stanley Cup Favorite"
