Between the non PI call and BS illegal shift call … man Giants got hosed.

They got called for a facemask Watt hasn’t been afforded all year (basically legal to hold him at this point), then had a clear TD overturned on some nonsense, despite getting two separate steps in…the worst call of the whole game.

They get the worse of the officiating more often than not, last week they were fighting bad calls to the very end, when two early whistles killed first downs after all their other nonsense.

Giants punter got crushed on that punt return for a TD, how that wasn't running or roughing the punter is lunacy. Should have never been a TD. 

Again it begs the question but what are these back judges looking at? Again your job is to look for obvious holds AND to look at the impact of the QB/K/P. That's it. That's all. 

EDIT: OMG 2 refs missed that call. At least the Viking one had just 1. 

2 games in but Russell Wilson still throws a pretty deep ball, thought he was lacking that in Denver. Like some of these throws are textbook dimes.

Bare minimum, 5 yard running into the punter but I can totally see this being a 15 yarder. Can't take the legs from under a punter after the kick, that's completely against player health and protecting players like this. I know punters usually flop a bit off a minor touch but this was a no doubter. How that was a no call is ridiculous and the cherry on top was a punt return TD off of it. Thought the flag thrown was for sure going to call this back.

Russ Wilson plays a perfect game sans 1-2 throws last week vs Jets but now fumbles mid 4th and gives NYG new life because of course.

TJ Watt is so damn good, Giants tackles getting abused(as expected) all game long, was a matter of time before the strip sack happened on Jones.

The Andrew Thomas season ender is just brutal for NYG. Minnesota will experience life without Darrisaw who lost his season on TNF too. Makes me wonder if Tyron Smith can be dealt if he can at all muster anything leading up to the deadline. Get him on a contender and get Olu Fashanu more playing time if this becomes a lost year in NYJ.

That angle is a bit misleading, was the bare minimum amount of contact to justify a call, the definition of ticky tack as far as roughing the kicker calls though. Would definitely be frustrating after we lost a great punter who was blown the fuck up on the play for no call. Either way, other directions, up close, he stops his forward momentum, like I said, bare minimum for it to be called, ear hole grazes dude’s knee cap.

There was no attempt to block this either, this is just a low hit that fortunately didn't result in any major injury. You can debate 5 vs 15 yards but there not being a penalty is crazy. The only justification is I guess the NFL knows how bad the refs were 2 MNF's ago and how much they ruined that game that they don't want to call everything a foul....but this one actually deserved it.
