Kind of want an Adam Sandler-style "Click" remote to fast forward four years to just see how all this sh*t is going to pan out. š

So far the Gaetz appointment is the only one that makes me say "WTF". Trump said he wanted to put an end to the weaponization of the Justice Department. Gaetz will likely keep it going, only this time, the Dems, the left, and everyone who trumped up those charges against Gaetz will be targeted.

He's certainly colourful If Trump is half as smart as his base thinks he is, he would have nominated Gaetz to get his other nominations through, let him be the hill that people die on during confirmation hearings

It's kind of frustrating for the left that there wasn't more of this straight talking two years ago
It's also true that the left wing commentators keep doubling down with the racist, sexist and stupid attacks.

Thereās something fishy about Casey Means that I canāt put my finger on. She reminds me of my aunt who decided to fight her cancer through holistic methods instead of science-based treatment and died 3 months later after doctors begged her not to.
I think sheās right about diet and metabolic health and itās effects on chronic illness and mental health, but it seems counterintuitive to throw your support behind someone that eats McDonaldās every day. Something weird is going on there.
Also the 3 things she listed that RFK has been tasked with arenāt going to happen the way she seems to think they will. If you really want a good summary of RFK and his hypocrisy on vaccines, AIDS, pharmaceuticals, and science in general, watch this:
(If youāre not going to sit through the whole thing Iāll summarize: heās a massive hypocrite with no intention of remaining unbiased and basing findings in science and this entire segment is nothing but video evidence of it)

I was asking how itās okay when yall post āCEO of so and so bank says Trump is going to kill economyā to seal claps and when I post the same thing praising what Trump is going to do, itās āyeah more money for the rich!ā If you havenāt noticed yet. Everything they are doing is for WE THE PEOPLE. Yall just need to stop hating and see what theyāre doing. Theyāre going to drain the swamp once and for all and we are going to have front row seats to it. We are going to be able to afford homes again without having to have both adults working 2 jobs to do so. This isnāt going to help us tomorrow or the week after, but this is about our kids futures. They are going to save the world. Itās a shame you guys either have too much hate in you OR too big of an ego to admit you were wrong. I wanted to circle back to this. Can someone maybe explain to me how the bolded part is going to happen? What magic, secret plan that flies in the face of all realities will allow for the following to happen simultaneously: - Interest rates go down
- Inflation goes down
- The employment rate stays low while wages go up
- Avg household income increases 2X-4X (so both adults donāt have to work two jobs)
- The minimum wage stays the same
- Housing prices stop increasing
- Housing market doesnāt absolutely collapse
- Tariffs go into effect
- Prices go lower

Yeah letās shut down an entire discussion because of one thing he said that you donāt agree with. Good stuff. You lose credibility as a voice of reason when you say the stupidest shit ever that flies in the face of a) common sense and b) consensus. It goes exactly back to why liberals continue to fail. An echo chamber of out-of-touch virtue signaling.

There is no magic button to press, unfortunately. I listen intently whenever the politicians here are talking on the subject, and I'm convinced they have as much idea as I do, or less. And realistically, they don't care until it's election time and they need to make a promise they won't keep. But.. Sometimes, you've got to accept the rules of the game and become a better player. And that doesn't necessarily mean you've got to take the boomer advice of simply make more money - it does help - but the key, given the climate is to live below your means. The key to generating any sort of savings, long-term or short-term is to spend less than what you earn. A business wouldn't operate at a loss, so why do individuals accept they can or will and for it to be ok? I do, however have a lot of sympathy for those generally struggling at the lower end of the socio-economic scale. And they were likely struggling before Covid hit, and they're now struggling more so. And that can be for any number of reasons - some they can control and some they can't. But I don't have a lot of sympathy for those living beyond their means, and those who have over-capitalised because they want it all. I truly believe we need a culture shift in Australia away from building dramatically big homes and overall reduce the scale of the blocks and as a result an individual will borrow less - likely avoid borrower's insurance due to hitting the magic 25% deposit, pay less in tax, less in annual rates and in terms of running costs, pay less to cool and warm their homes. In short, we need to build homes like we did up until the end of the 1990s and stop setting up and normalising unrealistic, unnecessary standards of living. The local Australian media loves to run a story about people in ritzy suburbs, making 6 figures a few times over having to line up at local food banks because they can't afford to eat. They're living beyond their means guys - sell the AMGs and X7s, sell the house, downsize and they're likely living a comfortable life. As I've always said - you'll go broke, trying to look rich. And a big part of this crisis is due to that, individuals making unrealistic choices and ignoring the consequences.

The healthcare industry has engendered itself to such skepticism, not unlike Washington as a whole, that people will get behind pushback regardless of the potential pitfalls. Oliver himself points that out. Trump, ironically, is both a champion of Big Pharma, for Operation Warp Speed, and its simultaneous opponent. I guess the appropriate analogy is that Dr. Frankenstein is out to kill his Frankenstein Monster. Pfizer/Wyeth's use of the term "unavoidably unsafe" in conjunction with vaccines is bothersome. I think there's a lot of malfeasance in getting both vaccines and drugs alike past the finish line and to consumers. Deadly, unnamed side effects and hundred million dollar class action civil lawsuits are fairly irrelevant to the drug manufacturer if its already made billions ... and, obviously, vaccine manufacturers have immunity. As far as Oliver's segment about the covid vaccine; the vaccines' hysterical advocates created its hysterical opponents. The infection fatality rate of coronavirus for ages 0-19 is 3 out of 100,000; for annual influenza, same group, 2 out of 100,000 ... no wonder the writer of "Cause Unknown" claimed a kid died of the vaxx who wasn't even vaxxed. He's as desperate to disprove the vaccine as Big Pharma was to prove it.
