Which superstars do you feel are lost in the shuffle?
Not in the main event, not really a mid carder, not really a jobber, not really involved in anything special, but just there lost in the shuffle. To me this really describes Dolph. He's a great talent and I'm glad he got paid. I honestly don't see much special about him as far as the WWE goes.
Who else would you describe as lost in the shuffle?

Harper probably fits this billing and if this tag team doesn't take off, I wonder how much longer Harper will have in the company.

Finn Balor comes to mind. After returning from his injury, he seems to be stuck in limbo. He had a long and meaningless feud with Wyatt (another guy who has been lost in the shuffle for eternity), and now he's the quasi main event guy who has been overtaken in relevance by Lesnar, Reigns, Strowman, Rollins, Miz, and Elias.

Apollo Crews: I don't know what he did on nXt but he hasn't done anything on the main roster. I can't recall any interesting promos, feuds, or segments he has been in. He is athletic but that is about it. He is kinda just there.

I feel like all of the Smackdown roster are lost in the shuffle because everyone is involved in a multi-person angle with no one looking important/like a star. I feel like it's such a muddle and so sad considering how good it was initially post-brand split.

Agree with everybody mentioned thus far.
I'd say Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt are in the same boat currently. I mean I guess the only real positive for both is they at least are locked into a feud which is better than many others on the roster but still no matter how this thing plays out, neither Matt nor Bray will really gain anything from it.

It almost seems like the WWE is scared to let anyone go.

Despite holding a title...part of me wants to include Bobby Roode. He's just kinda here holding a belt that means nothing since he isnt in a meaningful feud.
But that could change with his match with Orton

But that could change with his match with Orton I think they are finally going in the right direction with Bobby. He finally had a legit title defense with a good worker in Rusev and had a nice little match, probably his best one on one singles matches under the smackdown umbrella. I think a blood feud with Orton is in order to get him over the hump. I'd rather Bobby go heel as he works better that way and he's the guy who needs to come out on top. It's a perfect co main event for wrestlemania...pre show. But hey its all mania and it's a stacked card every year so not everybody can be on the main show.

vendrell, I agree, Roode would be better heel. And you're right..the belt and his match with Rusev is really getting the ball rolling for him.

I honestly love that Roode is a face just because he's basically always a heel. I doubt anything would change if he changed alignments either. Just another bland cocky heel. Sure he's a bland face, but at least it's something we haven't seen for the last 7 years...

Well things just never really got off to a good start for Bobby on SD. He gets put over there and has two forgettable matches. Gets taken off tv for a couple weeks, maybe has a match, taken off tv again for a couple weeks then enters a feud with Ziggler which did him zero favors. I remember Bobby butchering a promo against Ziggler though, and I can't blame that on WWE that was all him. I mean the material wasn't great but he seemed to keep losing his lines and would take these long pauses and it was just so awkward. Not Roman and the bean stalk awkward but still pretty bad. Hell if booked right though it could work the other way around. I mean Orton works far better as a heel also. Problem is Orton is kind of perceived as that previous generation bad ass, and being the white knight babyface might come off kind of lame and it might end up hurting Bobby.

Randy Orton, he just doesn’t fit the B show and there’s really not much left for him to do. He used to be one of my absolute favourites and he’s brilliant in the ring but he kinda just feels like he’s there to be the only big name on Smackdown.

I feel like Orton is perfect for SD. He probably likes his light schedule

Nobody outside of wrestling fans know who AJ is, unlike people like Cena and Orton who have some cross over appeal (obviously more for Cena).
