Buddy Murphy vs Cedric Alexander for the Cruiserweight Championship has been announced. You'd think this would be a slam dunk pick for a title change but who knows considering WWE's love of having people lose in their hometowns. Australia hosted my sixth favorite triple threat ever: Rock vs. Brock vs. HHH! I would lose my shit if they ran a current day rematch of that. If my memory serves Brock wasn't going to be in the match originally but was added when Hogan pulled out of the tour. Everyone was furious that he bailed last minute but as a young fan that didn't care about the Hulkster I was stoked that we got a really cool match out of it. Oh yeah, I forgot about that Hogan tidbit. I think the match definitely benefited from the Brock swap.

Styles recently stated 100,000 people. MCG is set up for 80,000 apparently - early reports suggest most likely approx. 70,000.
Either way, that's a huge mass of humanity for a wrestling show outside of Wrestlemania.

I think it's achievable. With the right card, it's not nearly as ambitious as Bullet Club's 10,000 seats. The irony when All In got that number and this show has every section left with a week to go 😂. If anyone else going wants to meet up beforehand let me know, not a serial killer.. I promise 🤐.

Trips was on the news and is confident in 75k - I can see it happening. I can't wait for Elias and Owens to rip Melbourne on Collingwood, OMG.

WWE will reportedly be hosting a show at Optus Stadium in Australia in 2024.
The Sunday Times understands the Cook Government & WWE are just days away from announcing a WWE show at Perth’s Optus Stadium in Australia as it’s being reported it most media outlets today. Around early 2024 it’s being rumoured — before the start of the AFL season in late March.
The stadium allows a 70,000 capacity.

I'd imagine Rhea loses the World Title somewhere and takes the WWE Title at this show.

Looking like things got changed to Optus Stadium in Perth. Curious if they can fill it.
Rhea beats Seth make it happen <.<

I can't remember when the last WWE show in Australia was, surely it wasn't Super Showdown in 2018?

There have been smaller shows but Super Showdown was the last big one.

Yeah, I missed the 2019 tour.
The NXT tour was by far my favourite show, 3 rows back, smaller arena and not a person under 15. A joyous occasion.
