Based on those ratings, Meltzer must think that this is in the absolute upper tier of pro wrestling shows ever.

This is a guy who thinks something like 8 of the best 10 matches ever have happened in the last 20 months though. He adores modern wrestling, which his influence has had a good hand in shaping, so it makes sense.

While ultimately they are just the subjective opinion of a single man (and he himself laughs at how seriously people take them), his ratings were always influential but now seem even more so and seem to be taken more seriously than ever by certain online fans (people on SquaredCircle often using them like they are some objective fact).

Really think once he had six stars that he was just trolling from that moment on. Course judging by all the radio I've heard he doesn't really have much of a sense of humor so who knows.

Those star ratings are insane even for Meltzer. He must have been drunk.
