It really goes to show the state of ROH & NJPW that a show like this was able to draw so well. I've been outspoken about the state of ROH, but the bottom line proves that their partnership with NJPW was the best thing to happen to that company.

They really did a brilliant job of turning it into an event rather than just a wrestling show. The announced names are great, but nothing crazy overwhelming, nothing that you wouldn't get on a particularly loaded ROH or NJPW US show that would draw half as many people. A lot of people are banging the drum of "this proves that these guys are draws!" but I don't think that's the answer either.

They sold a movement, and that's awesome. They did what WWE has been trying to do for so long, without the clumsy branding -- they made the fans part of the event, and that's so hard to replicate. They made a standalone event that fans are willing to travel for and pay a lot to do so.

One of the biggest takeaways here: Being the Elite is a massive success. They just did a six-figure gate off a Youtube show. I'm guessing they'll have some sort of VOD/IPPV/DVD returns as well.

I'm fascinated to see what future talent announcements and matches come out now that it's a sellout.

The rumour I read the other day was, they were hoping a third party would show interest in it and buy/record/broadcast the show. Otherwise, they were fine with it going ahead essentially, dark.

I would love to see it taped, and would love to see a behind the scenes documentary to go with it. This potentially could be the most important thing to happen to pro-wrestling in years, and would hate for it simply go down in wrestling-lore as this incredible show that all but 10,000 people saw.

Something tells me Magnus doesn’t make it to All In with the title.

I'll go out of my way to watch this if they book a CM Punk/Ryback match.

I've been saying from day one that I'll eat my hat if CM Punk shows up at All In, but they've marketed this and controlled the rumors so fucking well, they even have me thinking he might show up.

He won't. There's no way.

I kind of think that’s what makes it special. If it’s awesome, it’ll drive demand for the next one too.

Cody has commented on streaming the show a few times on twitter. He's been kind of vague about it but it sounds like they would stream it if they could. He doesn't elaborate much more than that, so I don't know what the deal is. I'm assuming there are contractual obligations some of them have that dictate how and when they can appear at a televised event.

I can't imagine NJPW would be cool with some random streaming service making ad revenue off Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, etc.

Honestly I'm with KJ. Not televising the event makes it that much more exciting for the next one. And let's be real: 80% of the crowd are going to have their smartphones in hand for most of the show, so we'll see pieces of it online as it's happening. And that might make it even more cool.

I bet they tape it. Then let hype and buzz build demand, shop it around and sell the rights. What are the chances it ends up on NJPW World.

You might be right. I'm sure they approached AXS TV to air the show. Then again, maybe not. The whole point is they wanted to do this on their own, using their own name recognition and nothing else. Any ties to NJPW or ROH are obviously implied due to how they got their fame, but I think they'd want to avoid having those names tacked on to their show.

Considering how reliable things like ROH streams are, i’d say they wouldn’t want the complaints to tarnish the event and taping is a much safer option.

Impact plugging All In this week. Said Tessa would be All In September 1st in Chicago.

In some format whether it be streaming, DVDs, or even a streaming service, the fans not attending will be able to see the show at some point. Spoilers, to me at least, don't matter in a event like this. The rumor is a second even later in the year in New York City.

Given how fast this sold out, if the show runs smooth these should be regular events. Gives the Bucks something to do when they step away from the ring in a few years.

I just heard on the most recent episode of Being the Elite, that All In will indeed, have LIVE PAY PER VIEW COVERAGE!
