WWE had a press conference this morning to announce that WrestleMania XXXV will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in 2019.

Also they announced that all the other events during WrestleMania Week (Hall of Fame, NXT TakeOver, RAW, SmackDown Live) will be taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.  Which also means that Madison Square Garden, widely considered as WWE's home base, will not be hosting a single event during the week.

And as for the 2019 Hall of Fame, I hope WWE gets it right, and finally induct Cyndi Lauper into its Celebrity Wing.

Yeah, I'm going in 2029 too!

I live 30 minutes from the Meadowlands but i wish the arena there was still open. It's a lot easier to get to than Newark or Brooklyn.

I can't see why they wouldn't run TakeOver or something at the Garden, considering that one special they ran there in 2015. And that event in 2015 shows that WWE found a loophole in running the Garden without breaking themselves.

I know that for TV and/or pay per view at the Garden, one has to hire a certain number of workers at a certain pay rate. And for those that want to show moving images on a screen, the AV team they have has to be hired, most of the time for a ridiculous amount. They also have lighting/camera/sound people that have to be hired and paid (even if you don't use them). None of these things apply for online streamed content (I believe the reason for this is it isn't in the union agreement), which is what that 2015 special was.

If 2020 is not in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium I am done watching. Although my good friend Dallas Clark firmer Indianapolis Colt is pushing negotiations with Lucas and Wwe
