Rumors of a physical WWE or professional wrestling Hall of Fame have been around for years now , and I want one god dammit. Visiting the few Hall of Fames I've gotten a chance to have been a blast.
I thought it'd be a fun discussion to see what kind of items we thought would belong on display at the Hall of Fame building - minusing the obvious busts of certain wrestlers. I'm talking props , costumes , seating - whatever we think belongs the most and represents the most iconic things in wrestling history. Just like baseball has certain bats , and football has game work jerseys and footballs or seats from games ...
So what are a few things you'd choose first? Maybe top three or something in your opinion? I thought far too long about this yesterday and I came up with:
- Andre the Giant's singlet/boots from WM3 would be a great start. One of the most iconic matches of all time and the sheer size of his wrestling attire would make for an amazing display.
- Ric Flair's robe - another thing that belongs in any Hall of Fame - I'm not sure which would be the best one. Perhaps a whole hall of robes would be best for Nature Boy but it's a great piece of memorabilia.
- First beer can Steve ever drank in the ring. This one was hard for me as I wanted to include Stone Cold. I think the beer can makes a lot of sense and if they could get their hands on the first one , signify the real change in the WWE for arguably their most important era - that would be HUGE.
What say you history buffs? What would you need in your HOF?

I would put all four of Randy Savage's robes from WrestleMania IV in. And maybe even all of Mr. Perfect's singlets. He had a lot of them.

Every jersey Babe Ruth ever wore isn't in the Hall of Fame! And for Mr. Perfect I'd choose a towel and a piece of gum he slapped. Something more unique to him than a singlet.

I'd hire George Wells to pretend he's getting strangled by a python during all open hours.
1. A Stone Cold vest 2. Road Warrior spikes (not Legion of Doom spikes) 3. A wax figure of Kevin Nash holding Mad Dog Vachon's actual prosthetic leg

Bret Harts sunglasses from the Montreal Screwjob.

Savage's Wrestlemania robes were the first thing I thought of.
The Million Dollar Belt needs to be there. In a glass case guarded by armed security 24/7, of course. Gotta keep up the gimmick.
Other props that need to be on display include The Urn, Jimmy Hart's megaphone, Mountie's shock stick, Rick Martel's Arrogance, and Bob Orton's cast.

Shawn's smile.
Catcher's mit and frying pan to show to scale how big Big Show's hands are.
The bell from Montreal, assuming they switch those out often.
If he had stayed gone the hat/jacket Taker left in the ring.

If it's the leather vests they wore it would be a no go. According to Animal's book those got stolen by a fan which lead to them dawning the shoulder pads. It would be neat to see the spike they used on Dusty though. Also many of Ric Flair's classic robes were stolen.
One of Vince McMahon's classic 80's blazers with the WWF logo The complete Piper's Pit set All the variations of the Ultimate Warrior's WWF title belts from 1990 The Big Blue Cage fully set up Different Miss Elizabeth dresses Sable's hand print bikini Remnants of the Barbershop window Marty Jannetty was kicked through

Oh the Barbershop one is a great idea. I think your HOF would need massive square feet. Love it. I'd probably settle for a side of an old school Cage , maybe the one Snuka jumped off. And on that subject , the piece of cell Foley fell through and maybe some of the thumbtacks.

I know some things are kept by the WWE for posterity and wrestlers reuse and ultimately keep their attire (some of it anyway), but surely no one is walking around picking up the broken pieces of a coconut or collecting a crushed can of beer, because no one at the time knew they would be particularly significant. But this is wrestling, so it is almost better if it is kayfabed. Obviously all WWF props need to be in here really. Even if some of them are just in some odds and ends section. - Iron Sheik's loaded boot and Slaughter's helmet and swagger stick, maybe with blood splatter effects as if they are from the Bootcamp match. - King's throne, crown, cape and scepter. - Honky Tonk's guitar with a dent in it from hitting Savage on SNME. - Greg Valentine's Heartbreaker shin guard and Rugged Ronnie Garvin's Hammer Jammer counter guard! - Hercules' chain. - Brutus Beefcake's shears. Or these can be a part of the smashed up Barbershop set. - Big Boss Man's nightstick with some handcuffs. Also, they could make a collage using some of the postcards sent in by fans in support of Hogan when he was out injured thanks to Quake. And there better be Quakeburgers sold at this Hall of Fame! And of course Needs to be a rarities section for stuff like that.

The belt room would be incredible. The (de)evolution of the (W)WWF/E title and all the other territory straps they collected. The NWA belt Shane Douglas threw down next to the ECW title he hoisted.

I would donate my Lanny Poffo frisbee if Vince came calling.
Was in the process of deleting some old pics I no longer wanted or needed when I came across some old WWF magazine & program pics. The WWE Hall of Fame definitely needs a room for old mags and programs. Hell, make it an entire library.

The Singapore Cane Sandman used on Dreamer that finally won Tommy over with the crowd?
Kilgore mentioned the NWA Belt.
I'm not sure. No ECW Expert.

How about the Ring Cart from WrestleMania III? That'd be a good relic.

When I found out Shin and Baker never noticed that guy, that's when I knew I was the only one in the world carrying the torch for Kerry Collins Jersey guy. I never really noticed him either until we did the superfans thread a few years back. There should also be an example of Sign Guy's work. Other thoughts: Hulk Hogan's all white and all blue early Hulkamania garb Hogan's self made Hulkamania shirts from the AWA Hogan's Rocky III cast jacket and Thunderlips costume Dusty Rhodes' loaded boot from Starrcade '85 Sting's Crow and Great American Bash 1990 duds Various Undertaker coffins for Yokozuna, Kamala etc. Ultimate Warrior's yellow IC title from Wrestlemania VI Taz's FTW title Bobby Heenan's black jacket Harvey Wippleman's camera from King Of The Ring 1993 used to end Hulkamania Andy Kaufman's neck brace
