Last night, Pac 12 After Dark provided us one of the biggest upsets of the year.

Washington State defeated fourth ranked USC, and hence, likely ended the Trojans' shot at a Playoff spot.

We got more games on the docket today.  Headlined by tonight's showdown between Clemson and Virginia Tech.

Hitman's gonna love this. Wake Forest is up by nine on Florida State.

But he's not gonna like that this is gonna be a handicap match from here on out.  Wake Forest vs. Florida State AND The Zebras.

That's two calls that went against the Deacons.  First, the "roughing" the kicker, when it should've just been running into him.  And now, the foul that led to the Seminoles' first TD.

Worst possible time for Wake Forest to turn into rotten pumpkins.

The Gators offense wasn't perfect but that's the best they've looked in the post-Urban Meyer era.

That Wake/FSU game was a bummer. Too many turnovers and special teams errors. Coaching staff also needs to stop being conservative at the wrong time.

Program has greatly improved since Clawson's first year in 2014, even though this is clearly not a high end FSU team.

Got us a ring-a-ding-dong dandy going on between OK State and Texas Tech. Still tied at 34, after the Cowboys missed a chip shot field goal.

Clemson should be the #1 team in the country. Their run this season has been unreal. Meanwhile, can we be done with LSU now?

Wonder where Sea Slug is. LSU got a decent win this past weekend over Florida.

Upset of the year. Syracuse just defeated Clemson.

Yeah, that shits wild. The loss of Bryant was too much to overcome. That's an awful loss, too. Huge for the football program of Syracuse. That has to be their biggest upset of all time.

Pac-12 After Dark has claimed another Top 10 team.

#5 Washington falls to Arizona State.

That makes it four Top 10 teams to lose this week (#2 Clemson, #5 Washington, #8 Washington State, #10 Auburn).

TCU's dropping out of the Top 5 this week. Iowa State takes them down.

And now, so will Penn State.  Ohio State beats them, and may have taken them out of National Title contention.  Lions blew it bad.

I know a lot of you haven't been watching college ball, but you should see what's happening in the Battle of Oklahoma. It is Bedlam alright.

Midway through the 4th, and it is currently 55-52 for the Sooners.

Iowa just dominated Ohio State. I'm so glad the out of playoff picture for good.

That was a great beatdown. It'd be nice if next week, Michigan was ranked, and Ohio State was off the Top 25.

But knowing the CFP committee, they won't. They gave one-loss Clemson a spot, while keeping undefeated Wisconsin and Miami on the outside.

Big fucking game next week. Undefeated Notre Dame, at undefeated Miami.

It's Catholics vs. Convicts all over again!

With Penn State and Ohio State out, Notre Dame vs Miami is more the likely for a playoff spot. I'm going for Notre Dame.

Also, who else is patiently waiting for Georgia to lose/choke their playoff seed away? It's bound to happen.

Well, this was the week. #1 Georgia went down to Auburn, quite handedly tonight. 40-17.

The Bulldogs have no shot to make the CFP now.

And now Notre Dame has no chance. It is currently the Convicts dominating the Catholics.

Mizzou clawing back to a .500 record is really impressive. They're a deeply flawed team, but they didn't quit after a 1-4 start. Hard to be upset with that attitude. Going bowling this year would be a huge statement, and a 7-5 regular season record isn't out of the question with Vanderbilt and Arkansas still to come.

Also, Georgia and Notre Dame going down the way they did was brutal. I'm guessing it'll be Bama, Clemson, OU and Miami tomorrow in the rankings (not a huge leap I know. I'm just waiting for 8-0 Wisconsin to make the jump in rankings).

Based on the results of today, here's what I think Tuesday's rankings will be like.

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Oklahoma
4. Miami

I actually would be okay with that being the final 4 in the playoffs, too. That would make for some fun football.

It's going to be Clemson or Miami; not both. They play each other in the ACC Championship Game.

That's a shame. I guess that's how Ohio State is going to sneak in there.

That won't happen.

It'll either be Ohio State or Oklahoma sneaking in to that 4th spot. They want Baker in the playoffs.

If Oklahoma wins out, then they're in the playoff without question.
