So a dude on wreddit who's broken some news about titles in the past has said that the long anticipated women's tag team titles will be introduced into WWE later this year around Summerslam. 

Obviously there are some doubts around the lack of established tag teams and how well they'll be able to pull the division off, especially concerning the brand split (and whether or not that still exists after the move to Fox) but I think this can only be considered a positive development. 

The Bellas need to be the first champions - they've been advocating for tag titles for a decade now. An inaugural feud between the twins and Iconic Duo would be 🔥

So the brand split will end this year. That sucks

Well, there's a lot more women in the division now. In fact, there is more now than there was all of when the last time they had this title in existance.

At least this time around, there won't be Moolah around to sabotage it.

Too bad LayCool won't be around to go for them. They will probably be used in the storyline to get Bayley and Sasha to makeup.

Absolute waste of time. The talent pool isn't deep enough, so considering this, every female talent's goal should be the respective brand's women's title. Nothing less.

They struggle keeping things interesing with two men's tag team titles, and fully utilizing the US and IC belts.

My initial reaction to the news was "y tho" and it still is. WWE loves them some belts even if a lot are pretty ugly. *cough*NA*cough*
