Crowd will not give Roman a chance because they that is what it is cool to do. He is ready for a title run now and has been putting people over big time these last few months.

That doesn’t mean he’s leaving, though, right? It means he is leaving, but could be tomorrow, could be two years from now. He is pulling a Punk in RoH right now. I mean, his last fight was under WWE contract. You don’t think he could negotiate a way to do both?

I’ve never been so happy to get almost all my predictions wrong, such a great Mania.

As someone who missed the first... 5/8ths of WM when the recap showed Cena staring at Taker's hat and jacket in the ring and John freaking out I thought he was going to put on the outfit and become the new Undertaker.

I’m assuming they were hoping the crowd would cheer Roman to the back for all the heart he showed in that match. Instead they got douchebag silence.

I know it’s always said, but I think that ending is leading to a heel turn.

You don’t think he could negotiate a way to do both? It's possible, of course, but (speaking completely out of my butt because I do neither rasslin nor MMA) I'd think it's hard to condition yourself to full-force punch someone in the mouth this month, then next month re-train muscle memory to barely skim their jaw, then the month after that it's back to actually hitting someone for realsies.

Also I don't know where Roman possibly goes from here. This was a pretty damaging loss for his character...unless WWE really have given up on him being the guy. Just weird booking. I mean the swerve was a nice surprise because I agree, I don't think anybody was really looking forward to a roman title win but I wasn't looking forward to more of Brocks style of matches. It was fun once or twice but it's pretty much the same show at this point. The ending saved the match from being instantly forgettable but I don't know if long term it did WWE any good.

For a guy they push so hard as "the guy" they constantly cut him off at the knees and put him in situations where the fans can't possibly get behind him.

Or because he is the worst booked babyface of all time. Nah, WWE screwed over Reigns in the long run. I dunno what it would take to change fans' minds, but right now there is NOTHING he could do that would change the perception that WWE wants to put the square peg that is Roman into the round hole of top-tier guy. His matches have gotten better. (Not all-time great, but reliably cromulent.) His promos have gotten better. He's obviously willing to take a beating for the sake of the match. And yet we still are completely unwilling to give him another chance. He'd have to, I dunno, leave for a year and do the indy circuit and come back with a new theme and new look and completely abandon everything that looks or sounds Shield. And stay in the midcard for another two years. Then maaaaaybe the fanbase would think about giving him another shot.

I don't understand you guys that say that was a great show, or main event. I thoroughly enjoyed royal rumble and elimination chamber, but this show was meh to me.
And the main event? Fans satirically hold up signs counting lesnars suplexes because they are bored of him and people react to Roman in an eye rolling manner because they're conditiones to be tired of him. How can one enjoy a match between two characters like that?

It seems like Brock will just forever be there guy as long as he wants to be. That job he did for Goldberg looks like it might be the last one he does until retirement.

I was really enjoying it through the Rousey match but nothing after that was very good.

How can one enjoy a match between two characters like that? It was an overall solid show. The main event sucked and if roman had won people would say it was awful but since Brock won and was unexpected it's suddenly an instant classic. I thought it was boring as shit honestly. The show of course suffered from being to damn long. I was getting tired and we still have 3 matches to go.

It’s just that the first Triple Threat, SD Women’s Chanpionship and Mixed Tag match we’re all that good. And I think because it’s WrestleMania and that we’ve seen worse. I didn’t care for the ME myself but I didn’t expect to. I will say I think I enjoyed it more than their first match up but I really thought Roman should have gone over. They’ve done so much damage to his character since pushing him that I don’t think he’ll ever recover.

AJ vs. Nakamura is the match I was most disappointed with. Not to say it was the worst match on the card though. The match just never seemed to kick into the next gear and the crowd was pretty silent for most of it.

And I really enjoyed rousey tonight, makes me look forward to her time in WWE. The Braun thing was fun. The AJ match was ok.

I loved seeing DB back in the ring...but the match itself...meh. It was ok but nothing i'd watch a second time. i would like to add though that my enjoyment of this whole show might be reduced more than it usually would be because my feed on the network was constantly freezing so I was get annoyed but I don't know, that second half of the show still felt like an eternity.

Yes Charlotte vs Asuka was great and I think hands down the best "wrestling" match of the night. I saw a lot of complaints about Asuka's streak ending but I thought it was a good choice, genuinely surprising and means Asuka's character can hopefully develop a little bit and her matches become more than just about the streak.

I think I was able to enjoy Reigns/Lesnar because I didn't go in expecting a classic, I went in expecting a brawl, a big fight and a lot of spots. Blood always adds drama as well.

Show was fun. Didn't like all the results (Asuka losing/Jinder winning/Nak losing), but it was watchable and entertaining. With that said, holy fuck that main was the shits. That match was horrendous. Crowd failed to pop for a table spot. That has NEVER happened. They were so sick of it all and beyond done. Lesnar busting open Reigns couldn't even save it. Don't know what to make of Brock winning. While hilarious, everything they've done has built to Reigns winning. Him failing has kinda ruined the story. Brock was the lazy, unmotivated part timer and he still waxed you, Roman. So...I guess you're shit. That's the takeaway.
