Looks like Lesnar has resigned with WWE. Dont know if its short term or long term but I think Vince realized Brock is his biggest draw and needed to cough up more money.


THere is also a report that vince and brock was in a heated exchange last night? What ever it was I had no idea what it was over unless he told brock you win and get more money you son of a bitch lol.

Oh great, more matches of nothing but german suplexes and an F5. Can't wait for those. I haven't wanted to see a guy lose this bad since HHH's infamous reign of terror in the early 2000s....oh well Jinder I forgot about him. I mean I get why they resigned him from a business stand point but it just sucks because usually if you go into a feud with Brock, your not coming out of it for the better. That doesn't mean they have to win the match but I think AJ has been the only guy of this most recent run of Brocks who didn't come off looking like a total chump. Really i'm shocked AJ looked as good as he did considering Brock had just put Strowman down clean with one f5 the month before. I didn't think Brock would be so giving to a smaller guy like AJ.

It's great that he won the NCAA and i'm sure he was very dedicated to it and loved it.  Lesnar doesn't strike me as a guy who loves pro wrestling anymore and therefore not going to go out there and really do more than he has to.  I think that is on him, not the wwe making him limit his skill set.

Brock really was booked like shit the last year. I’ve been driving a few hours and was thinking about how entire year was basically a holding pattern for Reigns. Outside of the Joe match and the badass fiveway, nothing he was booked for was ... good.

The one other good match that comes to mind was vs. Styles at Survivor Series. He definitely seemed to care in that match.

I agree with ya but you know they make tons on those suplex city shirts.

I'm hoping we'll find out more about the possible altercation between he and Vince after Mania.

Bit of an update today from Meltzer:

- Meltzer confirms it's a new contract with higher "rate" (salary?), and not an extension of the old one.

- Not sure if it's a one-match contract or more than one-match contract, but will probably have more ideas in the future, ie. after the Saudi Arabia match, or after he puts his name in the USADA pool.

- The agreement for Lesnar to stay was made on the Monday RAW go-home show before WrestleMania 34, contract was signed on Sunday before the match.

- Roman Reigns knew about this new deal only on the WrestleMania day, and he was in the mindset that he's winning the championship as he showed up. So his promo on RAW after Mania was somewhat true as well.

- Meltzer is not sure whether Reigns was mad or not. He'll probably be mad if Strowman ends up with the belt (huh.), but that's not the case leading up to WM.

- But as far as the writers concern, and Roman understood it as well, there was absolutely nothing they can do to convince the Mania crowd to cheer for Roman. The crowd would boo Roman no matter what, so Saudi Arabia may be the best bet to crown Roman since he'll probably get much less boo there than in US.

- The idea moving forward, right now, is either Reigns (heavily favored) or Strowman as the champion. But hey, Vince changes his mind all the time.

- Max 5-10 people knew about the change in ending. The original ending to the Mania match was supposed to be when Roman came off the rope and got put in the F5 position, Roman would counter it to a Spear and pin Brock. It was changed to Brock pinning Roman after an F5 so everyone (probably backstage) will not think that Brock has gone off-script and shoot on Roman.

- There were a lot of confusion among the people backstage about that ending, nonetheless, especially when Brock came up and threw the belt at Vince. That's probably just to work the people at the back.

- Meltzer thinks that's a bad vibe since it resembles WCW backstage. He feels that it also has bad impact on the writers and the producers as well, because here they are working for the company, and are not put in the know at all, so your morale would have been really low. Even the people that are usually in for the super insight stuff were not in for this one.

- Just to clarify, the story that Brock is going in this for himself is untrue. Roman got screwed is also untrue.

- Brock has yet to put his name in the USADA testing pool, so until then he'll stay in WWE and obviously, perform. The moment he puts his name in, that's when we can tell "okay he will fight 6 months from now", and probably have a better idea when his contract with WWE is running out.

How much you want to believe any of this is up to you I guess - but one thing is for certain, this whole situation is a complete shitshow. They've spent about as long trying to Roman over as the guy as the length of time Stone Cold and The Rock were on top combined, and he is still getting completely rejected. Doing the same thing over and over with Roman and expecting it to magically work is just the height of stupidity.

I'm really inclined to believe Steve Muehlhausen's report, in which he says he's signed to a multi-year deal where he'll be allowed to fight in the UFC as well as continue his WWE commitments.

Honestly, it's the best possible deal anyone could have come up with. It may not feel like it, but he is still an attraction. Not only that, he's easily one of the biggest attractions in both companies, if not the biggest, he's well known and super marketable, and has proven time and time again he's gonna bring in the crowds and he's gonna bring in the Network subscribers and people are gonna buy the fights.

We get the big money match with Bobby Lashley, and a whole other plethora of dream matches such as Jericho and Nakamura. Can't get any better than that.
