The NBA playoffs is today! Post your prediction, and discuss the playoffs.
East
Raptors 1 vs Wizards 8 Predict: Raptors in 5
Cavs 4 vs Pacers 5 Predict: Cavs in 4
76ers 3 vs Heat 6 Predict: 76ers in 6
Celtics 2 vs Bucks 7 Predict: Bucks in 5
NOTES: Keep in mind Irving is out for the playoffs because of knee injury he already have a surgery, and with no Gordon Hayward the Celtics is not going far. They might get past the first round but I am going to go ahead and predict the Bucks winning the series in 5. Embiid is already out for game one but if he returns sooner than later in this series I think the 76ers will close the early the sooner Embiid gets back the better. Wade while he is old, and decline but playing Wade in the postseason could be potentially be dangerous for the 76ers especially if they are playing without Embiid portion of this series.
West
Rockets 1 vs T-Wolves 8 Predict: Rockets in 6
Thunder 4 vs Jazz 5 Predict: Thunder in 6
Blazers 3 vs Pelicans 6 Predict: Pelicans in 7
Warriors 2 vs Spurs 7 Predict: Warriors in 4
NOTES: Wolves are going to struggle defend the three point line they don't have to many good defenders at, and going to struggle keeping up the Rockets pace. But I do think which I predict they win a couple games for this series. The interesting match up is Jimmy Butler vs James Harden that is going to be a great matchup. Capella(sp.) who I think is a solid big but he is going to struggle defend KAT and CP3 is going to eat Jeff Teague alive. I think the X-Factor for the Rockets in this series is their bench mainly Eric Gordon, and Ryan Anderson if they get hot the entire series, or majority of the series this series could be over quickly. The X-Factor for the Wolves will be Andrew Wiggins. Trevor Ariza who is a solid defender is going to give Wiggins fit and Wiggins isn't a good one on one player so he needs to find ways to help on the offensive end.
I am torn between the Blazers vs Pelicans series because I think this series could go either way, The Pelicans got mainly well Anthony Davis to bad Cousins is out they could use him while the Pelicans running their offense through their bigs mainly AD, and somewhat Nikola. While the Blazers running their offense with their guards CJ and of course Lillard. This series could be a potential fun, and great series. Even though it's difficult to win a game in Portland but I did predict the Pelicans to win the series in 7 like to see Anthony Davis advance to the next round.
Which series you are interest the most? What is your prediction?

I’m predicting chalk in the East and the Jazz over the Thunder along with 1-3 winning in the West. The only real “upset” I’d guess would be New Orleans over Portland but I’ll trust the team that’s been there more I guess.
When doing my work bracket I only had a hard time with the Conference Finals. I can’t predict another GSW-Cleveland matchup, even if it makes the most sense to me, so I think I’ve got Rockets/Cavs with Rox in 5.

Philly is my pick to make it out the East.
Houston will find a way to choke, so I will go with Golden State beating Philly in 7.

Wooh boy those Cavs crapped the bed in game one. Lebron giving his teammates the “umm am I gonna have to beat the Pacers alone?” look.

Indiana had a great gameplan. Start off big, then slow it down, and play tough D the rest of the way.

Haven't watched the Rockets at all this year but been loosely following them in the standings, looking forward to getting back into basketball and following along with their playoff run, hoping to see a Houston sports trifecta with the Astros, Rockets, and Texans all winning championships.

I missed the two games today since haven’t been home most of the day and saw that the Cavs got destroyed.
Watching the OKC vs Jazz game right now and PG13 is tearing up

Pretty good game 1 there, Harden really shined there in the second half, when he's on he's about as impressive of a basketball player I've ever seen.
Timberwolves almost made a game out of it. Is that the same Derrick Rose that was tearing it up with the Bulls a while back?

Dwayne Wade is a legend.
21 points in the 1st half. The Heat look like they’re tying the series. Best of 5 with the return of Embiid.

Pavers were an Oladipo three away from tying this game with 30 seconds to go after being down 15 after a quarter. Whoo boy.

Huge sweep on the road for Philly. Up 3-1.
In other news, if Portland don’t wake up in the final quarter, this big in season run will end with a first round sweep to the Pelicans. I would be more excited for a GS/NO series if Cousins was playing. However, the way AD is playing, this could be his championship coming out year.

It’s official.
The Pelicans are the first team to advance into the second round with a dominating sweep of the 3 seeded Trailblazers. Anthony Davis went off for 47 and got help by Jrue Holiday who went off for 41.
Up next Golden State?

Anthony Davis, Niko, Jru Holiday and Rondo have been pretty good most part of the series against Portland. Don’t think their guards will keep it up on the second round against the Warriors same goes with Niko

Damn AD is just straight up beast! I did not know how good Holiday was and he made Lillard look like a bitch. If GSW do not have Curry in next round, then Pelicans will win in 6.

The Spurs didn’t deserve to be swept. A gentlemen’s sweep is fair enough for a team who has dealt with so much drama this year.
The Bucks are a serious threat to Boston and considering Boston is without Kyrie and Hayward, I kind of don’t want to see them in the second round. I would much rather get a good ol futures match up with Simmons, Embiid and The Greak Freak going at it. I got Philly going to the NBA Finals so I expect them to beat whoever gets in their way, but I would much rather some good basketball. Yes, Boston has some exciting young pieces such as Tatum, Rozier and Jaylen but the Greak Freak is good enough to get his team to the second round of the playoffs.
So my advancing predictions beforehand were:
HOU vs OKC GS vs POR
TOR vs CLE PHI vs MIL
So far I’m wrong with Portland and could end up being wrong with OKC, Cleveland and Milwaukee. We’ll see. This is a fun payoffs so far. A lot of star power with the future meeting the past.

I fear that the refs are gonna screw the Raptors out of the playoffs. That was piss-poor officiating tonight.

No. Maybe if Derozan didn’t go 1 for 5 in 5 straight possessions, the Raptors could’ve won. Bradley Beal gets fouled out and the Wizards go on a 10-4 run. That’s why Toronto is losing this game.
